"Basement Masters recently performed a remodel on our basement and did an excellent job. Our split foyer home had a basement that was in desperate need of modernization and we needed more space for our growing family. They gutted our entire basement including the bathroom to provide us with a beautiful new space that meets all our needs. From the start they were the clear contractor of choice. We solicited about three bids, including Basement Masters, for the work that needed to be done. Of the three, it was clear that Basement Masters knew basement remodels inside and out. Their pricing was easy to understand, clear, and quite honestly a better value than the other two contractor bids. Pavel, the owner, was very knowledgeable with our questions and gave advice where solicited. Throughout the bid and initial scoping process I always felt his and his team’s desire to be honest and provide the best service and value possible. It seems to me they operate off of pride of doing a great job and satisfying the customer and the fact that they are being paid to do it is just a benefit. The team started on time and were always professional and respectful of our home and time. I believe they even finished early. If there were any hiccups or questions the communication between myself and the project manager, Elena, or the construction team was always timely and all parties seeked to resolve the issue. I never felt we were being blamed or treated as if it was our problem and not theirs. And to clarify there were very little hiccups or issues. In fact we were blessed with a pretty smooth remodel. However, nothing is without a little bump or date push or whatever and anything like that was always handled well. It was our first major remodel and a significant amount of money to spend for us. We had huge concerns about the existing sump pump system and the Basement Masters team endured all our questions and concerns. They understood although it was common place to them, to us it was not. Again they always communicated and answered our questions around this issue. And I appreciate them putting us at ease as well as doing an outstanding job. In summary our basement has turned out beautifully. I honestly don’t think anyone could have done a better job and I would recommend Basement Masters 10 times out of 10 to any person looking for a contractor to remodel their basement. My only wish is they were the “masters” of everything, but I understand they are the Basement Masters because that is what they focus on and as such are able to really provide quality work and perform masterfully.
