"Nick and his team did a fantastic job in remodeling two bathrooms. For the master bathroom we replace an old Jacuzzi tub with a new soaking tub. The shower area was completely rebuilt with new tiles and thermostatic shower system. New floor, vanity counter-top and plumbing were installed. The guest bathroom was also rebuilt completely that included floor, shower, vanity counter-top, plumbing and lighting. The entire project was completed in 10 days, exactly as what Nick estimated. Nick is very pleasant to work with and gives excellent suggestion. He is also flexible in accommodating changes encountered during the project. We are very happy with the renovation experience and quality of the work was truly first-class. "Andy Q and his crew were absolutely flawless in planning, execution and finishing up the smallest details in this complex project. He and his crew were artisans, making my small bathroom look like a million bucks! They went above and beyond what he had agreed to do and his workman were the hardest working I've ever seen. The original demolition was to take 2 days and took 1 day with the second day for hauling everything from this ancient bath with layers of tiles and floors. His bid was the lowest of Manhattan contractors, including Lowes, who was dying to offer free financing, but with no practical advice. Andy knew what I could realistically do and what was just not possible in my tiny bathroom. One contractor wanted $15K just for demolition of my 30 square foot bathroom! Even before we began and all during the project, if I texted Andy, he would call within minutes and was always available to help with advice and reassurance. The Maintenance Company representatives for my co-op, on the other hand, were horrible, with unreasonable delays in approving my project, which delayed our starting time considerably. But that is over since my bath is 95% finished !! The new custom shower doors from Paradise Glass will be installed Wednesday and I will follow up with another review. THANK YOU ANDY!!!! "Chris Locrotondo of Rapid Plumbing Service was at my house within an hour of my explaining the problem to him. He diagnosed the problem and said he would be able to install the water heater within four days. He called the night before the install to let me know the expected arrival time and the amount of time it would take to complete the install. He showed up at 9am, as promised, and, before 11am, the water heater was installed and tested. I am extremely pleased and would consider Rapid for any other plumbing needs."

"I contacted Handy Dominick based on the terrific reviews he received on Angie's List. From my experience I can confirm those reviews are well-deserved. Dominick was a pleasure to work with. The quality of the work was excellent and so was the timing. I was under a tight deadline to get my apartment into shape and Dominick fit me into his schedule and then got everything done on time as promised . This was especially noteworthy because in several cases the work was more involved than expected (for example, it turned out that the previous kitchen floor had not been installed properly) and also I added a few items to the project as it went along. Besides the "big stuff" - painting and replacing the kitchen floor - Dominick addressed my accumulated wish list of minor repairs and enhancements. For example, he fixed closet doors that weren't closing properly, replaced a defective bathtub spout, replaced a rusty shower rod, installed a new shower head, Dominick is a problem-solver. He had great suggestions, for example he came up with an attractive way to insulate a heating pipe and upgraded my lighting by finding LED fixtures ("cans") that worked with my old track light track. Additionally, I appreciated Dominick's familiarity with working in co-ops. He was great on providing all the required paperwork - license, insurance certificate, indemnity agreement. And he fully complied with all the co-op's rules regarding work hours, removal of debris, etc. As in any project, there was a punch list at the end (in this case really just a few odds and ends), and Dominick was very gracious and attentive in resolving those items. I came away feeling very happy with the work itself and also very happy with the experience of meeting and working with Dominick and his wife Maria (who handles some of the scheduling and paperwork). I know I am repeating myself but Dominick was a pleasure to work with. With his positive attitude and creativity, he took situations that seemed hard and complicated and made them look easy."

"Bob the owner is very helpful and will go out of his way to make sure you’re happy and his prices are fair. His 3 main workers, Steve, Oscar and Angel are without a doubt the best craftsmen that I have ever used. They care about the quality there on time and make sure everything is cleaned up at the days end. They put up a ceiling painted my entire house and did an awesome job on a new bathroom. It came out unbelievable. They are also very polite and want you to be satisfied. Bob can always be reached and will go out of his way to make the customer happy.
