"Went ok. It worked for one day, but then they had to come back out and replace the same part. Mohammed is always professional and knows what he is doing. We'd give higher rating, but can take some time to schedule an appointment, and then fairly big appointment window. We keep using them (3rd time or so) because the technician is very good, and quick to point out things that truly need addressed. Plus, no hassle or questions when they had to come back out to redo the fix. Prices are pretty standard with rest of the appliance cadre in the area."

"UPDATED 10/30/2020: This is a revision of the 10/7/20 review. They did refund the overpayment and I'm glad that they have been working to make sure that they fixed the problem. They kept me informed about the schedule and arrived and checked the washing machine and determined that it was not the washing machine but I needed an electrician (When the electrician arrived after extensive searching they discovered that the problem was the sump pump) which has now been repaired). They quoted me a fee for the service call. While they were there I asked them about another appliance I was having trouble with. They took a peek and indicated what they thought was the matter and what would be needed for the repair. They gave me a bill for the quoted repair and I paid it by charge card. I was shocked to see that I was charged double the amount I was quoted when I looked at my credit card statement. I'm not sure if they charged me double because they looked at the other appliance, if it was a mistake or something else but I wish they had informed me that I was being charged more. As for the would I hire again I wish there was a maybe button."

"The service engineer from McCarthy was polite, professional and very friendly.  I was able to get a same day appointment which worked out well for me.  I wanted to use the promotion they had for a heating check-up for $59.  I was impressed with the service engineer and also signed up for an annual contract to have the a/c and heat check-up in the spring and the fall of 2016.  That cost was $199.  It turned out my heating unit had a faulty flame sensor which was fixed at a cost of $126.  My husband suspected the heat was coming on inconsistently so I was glad it was corrected before we had freezing weather.
The service engineer asked if I would like my first service call from the annual contract to the be the one he was currently doing.  I agreed, thinking it was saving me $59.  However, I later realized it didn't save me money - it cost me an additional $30.  I was disappointed that I was offered something that wasn't a good deal for me under the guise that it was.  Especially since I had committed myself as a customer for 2016.  The $199 annual service contract basically breaks down into two service calls at $100 each versus the $59 service call currently on offer.  Therefore, I paid half of $199 (the annual service contract) for the current service call when clearly, the better deal would have been to use the $59 service call promotion.  So, although I was happy my heating unit was serviced quickly and professionally I felt duped.
As I mentioned earlier, the service engineer was polite, professional and friendly but I rated this company a 'C' for professionalism as they successfuIly convinced me I was saving money when I really wasn't.   I guess I should have been a smarter consumer!

"All work was done beautifully. Other than the fact that I need to paint the area, you can't tell there was ever cracks in the wall or seams. Work was performed diligently and professionally. Tarps were put down and the area was thoroughly cleans upon completion. This is my second time using their services, but for a different type of repair. Will definitely be using their services again. They do excellent work and are reasonably priced. Plus, the owners are good to work with and very accommodating."

"I thought they were professional and nice, but they tried to repair my same appliance three times and it still didn't work. They were telling me one thing, but were telling my home warranty company something different. When I requested all three of us get on the phone to clarify the misunderstanding, Repair Tech Plus declined. As a result, I have to schedule another company to come out and start all over again with the assessment. This should have already been closed out so I could order a new appliance."
