"Very nice people however poor quality. I feel my contractor had no idea what i was looking for in my patio. He is attempting to fix the issues however i feel it really just needs torn out and re done. Very sloppy, uneven concrete areas, concrete splatters on my window screen, brick wall and awning post."

"Bone Dry did an excellent job handling our chimney and roof repairs. They were up front with all aspects of what would be done, and delivered on exactly what they promised. Of 3 estimates obtained for the work, Bone Dry was the only one that both identified the trouble spots and provided solutions to both correct as well as take steps to prevent the issues from reoccurring. I would highly recommend them for both roofing and masonry work."

"I called 4 or 5 different roofing companies to come out and repair the small hole in our roof from a fallen tree limb after a wind storm. None of the other companies even gave me a call back! I called Frisby and they called me back within the hour asking for pictures so they could work on a quote. They had two guys come out that very afternoon ahead of the rain to complete the task. The guys were professional and kind, and took care to show me each step they were completing. I felt the price was very fair too compared to other companies. I would highly recommend this company!"

"I contracted Simple Bath for my master bathroom remodel. They did such an outstanding job and the quality of the products and their craftsmanship was terrific. I was so pleased with them I hired them again to do the kids bathroom and my powder room a short time later. I received the same high quality products and excellent service. The crew started on time and worked a full day each day. They are so organized, there were no delays or any problems. They even finished earlier than promised in the project plan. I had told the folks at Simple Bath that I loved their work so much I wished they did kitchens! Six months later they started a kitchen division. I contacted them and we planned my new beautiful kitchen! The best part of doing business with Simple Bath and Simple Kitchen is they have a great team of employees that really want you to LOVE your newly created space and go the extra mile. We LOVE our home again!"

"This is the company we went with out of the 3 we selected to get quotes from. They were able to do exactly the style, color and type of window we wanted. We did spend a bit more than we had intended, but as we will definitely be in this home long term, it made more sense for us to get exactly what we wanted. We purchased an etched pattern in single prairie style, double hung, for the whole house, not just the street facing windows. We also purchased a full trim package for the interior of the windows in a Colonial style. So a bit more detail than we had originally intended, but once we saw what was available, and assessed our preferences, that's what we felt was the best fit. Again, the salesperson was just wonderful-had we not known that these options were available to us, particularly the wood colonial style trim package for the interior, I honestly do not feel we would be as happy with our new windows as I anticipate we will be. They will look like they were meant for this house, not like an afterthought as some windows I have seen in other homes. This, to us, was worth spending a bit extra. We have not had the windows installed yet, they will be ready mid-January. The representative was ALWAYS available to me, answered all my questions, both in the initial interview and in subsequent phone calls, kept our order ready to go while we waited for a financial settlement and got moving on it the day we gave the go-ahead. The final measurements were taken the very next day. Everyone that has come to my house thus far, and who was at the office when we went there to drop off paint for the window trim, has seemed genuinely pleased to have our business. We couldn't have asked for more courteous service, we had absolutely all the information we needed at a moments notice. I will of course update this once we have windows in the house and see how they're working-I'm sure as with everything else on this particular home, there will be some glitches along the way but that's to be expected with any major renovation of this type."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Urbana, OH

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
