"WILSON ELECTRIC IS ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! I can't say one thing negative about Wilson Electric during any of the times they were in my home or of the services they performed.
Bill Wilson came and looked at what needed to be done. We discussed what I wanted and a day or so later I got an estimate from his wife, Donna. He and Donna were both professional and really listened to what I wanted. Bill also had several great suggestions on lights and switches to make the lighting more practical and user friendly (and he was correct).
Bill and his helper came and did the electrical rough-in with no issues at all. After rough-in was done, Wilson Electric arranged for the electrical inspection. Electrical inspection passed with no problems. I really liked that the owner actually came and did the work instead of him just being a bid person and then sending a crew to take care of the details.
When the drywall and texture and paint were done, Wilson Electric (Bill and same helper) came back and did the final electrical work; switches, sockets, fixtures, etc. Again, everything went perfectly and very professionally and they left the basement completely clean.
I have nothing but praise for Bill Wilson, his helper, Donna WIlson, and Wilson Electric in general - they are true professionals and do absolutely outstanding work.
I have already asked for an estimate for some other work and I will absolutely use Wilson Electric again."

"The electrician is wonderful. The problem with him is that he seems to be really busy. Usually he comes by after two or three weeks. He tells you that it is going to be a couple of weeks, but I suspect it is because he is so good. His prices seem to be competitive. His name is Dan Brasier. Every time we have been very satisfied with the work he has done. It's not really inexpensive. I think his prices are for what's involved. I have done this kind of work myself and so I have an idea of how difficult it is. Frankly, I thought his work was very reasonably priced. He came out here just a month ago to look at doing more work running some TV cable connections. In that instance I didn't have him do it because his quote was more than we wanted to pay. It wasn't that I thought it was unduly high. I knew that the work that he had to do to do what we wanted done was going to be expensive. He didn't charge for the estimate. He is very good. He is excellent. He does the work. He is very efficient. He cleans up. He had another guy working with him. I think he is efficient. This is relatively a 4000 plus square foot house so there are a lot of electrical outlets. When the house was being built, it turned out that he had a helper that incorrectly wired a couple of outlets. It wasn't a problem, but he himself had to come back and correct it. Of course he didn't charge us anything for that. I am really hesitant to down him because of that but maybe it's a case where he didn't realize this guy wasn't quite as experienced or he didn't supervise him as closely as he should have. All the subsequent work has been very good. I think it was an honest error on the part of his helper."

"They have great displays so I was inspired more to think about the design myself. I liked the quality. I could walk through each room and they were all kind of connected. Each section is a store and you work within that store. They have everything from stucco, stone, tile, cabinets and lighting. It was a pleasant experience to go in and look at what they had. Their prices were reasonable. When I got the cabinets I had a little bit of sticker shock so I went to another place just to get a price and they were even higher so their prices were reasonable for the cabinets. They had lots of lines of quality so I could get a base product or keep working up to the really high quality cabinets. They had a good range of choices. They were helpful. I would definitely use them again if I had another project like this."

FAQs for swimming pool remodeling projects in Usaf-academy, CO

You can modernize your pool by adding features like underwater LED lighting, mosaic tiles, or a beach entry for easy access. Incorporating amenities like fire pits, waterfalls, or installing energy-efficient equipment can also give your pool a contemporary upgrade.

To make your pool more energy-efficient, consider resurfacing it with a lighter color to reduce heating needs and evaporation. Installing a variable-speed pump can significantly lower energy consumption. Switching to low-energy LED lights not only saves power but also enhances ambiance. Additionally, updating old plumbing pipes can improve efficiency and reduce water loss.

A pool remodel typically takes between four and eight weeks to complete. The exact duration depends on factors such as the size of your pool, the complexity of the renovations, and the availability of materials and contractors. Planning ahead and coordinating with a professional pool remodeler can help ensure your project stays on schedule.

Remodeling your pool can be a worthwhile investment, especially if you plan to sell your home. A pool remodel can increase your property's value and enhance its appeal to potential buyers. Upgrades like modern finishes, energy-efficient systems, and added features like lighting or fountains can transform an outdated pool into a backyard oasis.

Resurfacing a pool involves applying a new finish to the existing surface to address cosmetic issues and minor structural concerns. Replastering is a more extensive process that replaces a deeper layer of the pool's structural base, impacting both stability and appearance. After replastering, you can choose from various finishes to enhance the design and longevity of your pool.
