"Several months ago, I noticed that doors in my house were no longer closing and latching. Specifically, my front door no longer locked completely. Once I got it fully locked I could no longer open my front door anymore, so I knew I had foundation issues. I called Bay Area Underpinning to come look at my foundation and do some measurements. We discovered that my front living room was sinking approximately one and a half to 2 inches. The crew, Lance Sladek, Jake Hall, and Eddie Shaw, crawled under my house and dug 30 to 40 foot holes in the ground to install piers that would lift my foundation. These gentlemen worked in very cramped dirty conditions in 90-100° weather. I was extremely happy with their work and their dedication to doing the job correctly. My after the foundation lift, my front door as well as several other doors in my home were able to close and latch again."

"Candido and his crew were fantastic! We hired them to completely makeover our backyard. They had to remove piles of dirt, bushes, old trees, take up the old cement and then lay new sod, lay an entire new concrete patio, and create gorgeous planters for us that surround the entire yard. The entire project was shockingly completed in a week and looked amazing. We have since hired him to put in irrigation systems in our planters and sprinklers in the yard. We also hired him to do front yard clearing work and weeding and that was done in one day. We also recently hired him to take down a closet in a small room to make it bigger, and his crew did that, patched the ceiling, relaid flooring, and then painted the room for us over a week - it turned out amazing! We look forward to hiring Candido for future projects - his crew seems to be able to do it all. Always very quick and the work is great."

"I had Ricardo do some work at my son's house and called him for an estimate on the concrete work at my house.  I got estimates for the work from several contractors and selected Ricardo again.  We talked about color and stamping the concrete.  I originally thought I would like the flagstone look, but changed my mind before the job started.  I called Ricardo and we discussed what might look best and decided on the brick stamping which matched some other portions of the house. <br /> We set a date two weeks out to start the work.  Richardo expected the work to take about four days.  The week before the job was to start, Ricardo called to discuss the size of the channel drain and we decided on 6" wide to carry the water.  Ricardo and his crew showed up as agreed two weeks from the date we agreed on the proposal with the equipment to demo the driveway.  Ricardo and his crew worked all day--some of the concrete was thicker than we expected--and hauled away all the debri.  Ricardo brought stamp and color samples and we settled on red running brick.  Rain was forecast for the next day so Ricardo and his crew came back the following day.  The concrete truck appeared and the pour started.  They finished and left one person behind to smooth out the concrete, color and stamp the porch concrete, and take care of the concrete during the first day of curing.  Ricardo and crew came back for final cleanup and checking on Friday.  Everything turned out great!  Now I have concrete that slopes as it should and a great looking front porch that won't require tile or brick work ever! <br /> Came in at the price quoted and in the timeframe promised!  Ricardo is always helpful and ready to answer any questions.  He's great at explaining what is needs to be done, what they are doing and what the next steps are.  His crew is always considerate and professional.  I'll use them again the next time I have concrete work and recommend him to everyone! <br />"

"These guys were professional, fast, and were affordable. Had another company quote me much more than these guys did and the other company was no where near as professional as V Rivera Concrete. 10/10 would recommend! I'm impressed, thank you so much for the beautiful work you did!"

"Randy and Ryan did a great job. This project was for my parents residence and had to be up to my Dad's (retired "old school" carpenter) standards. From the permitting process to the move in, it was nothing less then great. That's not to say there weren't hiccups, it was a difficult project. But when the hiccups did arise, they had thorough explanations and timely solutions. They made us a very close part of the process and always welcomed our visits and input. They treated my parents with complete respect and i thank them for that. They were truly humble professionals. My parents are in the house now and they love it. I have used them for a second project and will call them again if the need arises."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Vacaville, CA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
