"Johnny and his Dad removed our old shed and assembled a new one. They were very good at removing anything we no longer needed and did a super job on our new shed. They were courteous, timely, and their price was very reasonable. They did everything to perfection. We will definitely use the services of Vasile Build by Design again."

Customers say: Quality work

"Very happy and pleased with the entire experience. He was very nice, offered really nice recommendations that would accommodate the house. Took the time to explain to me why he used the materials that he did. Just overall, a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend."

"They did a fantastic job with everything. The crews showed up every day, on time and ready to go. Everyone was super polite and started the day asking if my wife or I had any questions or concerns about the work. They had a ton of patience with the times we changed our minds about stuff. Before construction started BJ and Jennifer had some fantastic ideas for some things that me and my wife were unsure about. Really, can't say enough good things about them. They did a wonderful job with every aspect of our remodel. Every one of the workers was a pleasure to be around and have them in our home. They were on time, showed up and did what they said they would do, very clean and professional, and great workers. We absolutely recommend them."

"Nicholas is a very fastidious worker, when he is finished he leaves your home perfectly clean. Every surface, including the floor, is vacuumed, wiped off and pristine. He never stops and can do any job you need done. He is the best I have ever hired in my 16 years at this house, if he’s available don’t hesitate to hire him, you’ll be delighted with his work. Just TERRIFIC!!!"

"Have used this service for many years for various types of repairs, and as usual with Ronnie’s Home Service, today’s visit was no exception. Max was able to come by early and did a great job. He identified the problems quickly and set about correcting them. He resolved main problem quickly, which was that the lower track needed to be re-secured. Getting the doors balanced was not as easy as it sounds, but he was persistent and was able to get both doors functioning again. These are 40+ year old doors which have seen a lot of wear-and-tear, but he was able to get them working properly again. Mac was very professional, personable, and proficient in completing the work at hand. As with all of the employees that I’ve dealt with over the years, he’s definitely an asset to your company. You choose your staff well, which is why I never hesitate to call when I need assistance and have recommended your company to others. Another job well done for Ronnie’s Home Services."

"Two men arrived on the date promised. Actually, they were able to work this job in earlier than they first estimated, and they called first to make sure this was convenient for me. They were professional, polite, and pleasant to deal with. They assessed the situation accurately. I had earlier sent them photographs by email of the work that needed to be done. They worked very efficiently, repairing and strengthening the gates, replacing nails that were pulling out with screws, and adjusted the hinges where the gates dragged.  <br /> They arrived equipped with all the proper tools. They finished by sanding and re-staining the wooden gates. <br /> Thank you very much, Henderson Handyman Service.  It's great to know there are services like yours! <br />"

FAQs for shed, barn or playhouse repair projects in Vail, AZ

You’ll know it’s time for a new shed roof if shingles curl or buckle, soft spots sag, or water stains appear inside. Moss or other plant growth on the surface is another red flag that moisture has breached the roofing layers. Replacing the roof quickly stops leaks from spreading, protects stored items, and saves you from costlier structural repairs down the road.

Choosing between a flat and a sloped shed roof comes down to climate, budget, and upkeep. A flat roof is cheaper up front, but still needs a slight pitch for drainage. A sloped roof sheds rain and snow more easily, lasts longer, and often needs less maintenance. Weigh your local weather patterns, the look you want, and how much time you’re willing to spend on upkeep before deciding.

A shed roof’s life span hinges on the material you choose and how well you maintain it. Most standard products last 15 to 30 years, while premium picks like slate or clay tile can protect the structure for 50 to 100 years. Regular inspections, fast fixes, and routine cleaning all help you reach the upper end of those ranges and keep your tools and gear dry year-round.
