"The technician arrived early and go right to work. My door was in bad shape. The motor had pulled loose from its mount and the door was off the guide. The technician reattached the motor chain bracket to the wall, fixed the wiring that was hanging down, fixed the bent guide, adjusted the spring bar springs, and lubricated the spring and all wheels. The Technician also installed screws when reattaching the mounting board for the motor instead of nails like the builder did. He also installed some screws for the two warped mounting boards for the guides. It took about 1 1/2 hours and everything is fine now. Now the garage door will probably outlive me. Good Job! Very happy with the work performed."

"We had our screen porch enclosed and raised the floor at the same time. We had the preliminary work performed by a local contractor and ordered the windows from Window World. At the same time, we have been undergoing extensive drainage and landscape work done by a contractor who delayed us time and again and caused us to have to delay our window installation 2 times. Window World was very understanding and flexible about the delays! When the windows did arrive, the installer (Ronald) discovered that the openings for the windows were 1/4" shy of the 76" that was needed. I panicked! But Ronald was calm and professional and told me not to worry that he would fix the opening by removing some of the headers and go to the hardware store to purchase mouldings that would finish off the adjusted openings. The workers did a great job and we are spreading the word that you should consider using them for your home renovation projects! "

"It went pretty good but there are/were problems with the install. The astragal on the bottom of the door continues to roll-up as the door closes. A crew returned to address this issue but it still exists."

"The representative came out and informed me that the circuit board on the control unit had probably gotten struck by lightning. He gave me an option of replacing the entire unit or just replacing the circuit board. He replaced the circuit board and it fixed the problem. It saved me a lot of money. He was a very honest and respectable representative. He could have just told me that the whole unit had to be replaced. Instead, he shows that he valued the customer instead of trying to rip us off. Thanks for doing the right thing. I would definitely refer to them to other consumers and use them again."

"Roger was the one who put the cabinets in and he was wonderful...he was punctual it was the cabinets were not.  The cabinets are honey maple with special cutting and finishes requested.  We did get everything we asked for.  Evidently the problem , which we were unaware of for a few weeks, was that with the special finishes and cutting we requested the person who does this was backed up on his work and if I understood correctly it required a certain type of blade.  This put a 1-2 weeks delay on the installation of the cabinets.  Noting could progress until the cabinets were in.  The backsplash, granite, sinks, etc. could not be put in until the cabinets were in, which put a hold on all of the rest of the contract workers.  At the time it was a mess to have only one working sink...in the kitchen and none in the bathrooms.  With that said I have posted pictures under Affordable Handyman, Jason Kilgore, of the finished product.  The quality, finish and look is unbelievably beautiful.  Their work is outstanding and even with the delays I would definitely use them again.  My husband look at them all the time and say "we have the best looking cabinets in Columbus, Georgia.  For fun we go to open houses and even the high end ones $500,000 and up do not have cabinets that can compare to ours. So thank you for what we consider art work.  If I can figure out how to do it again I will post pictures on their website here on Angie's list. <br />"
