Our dog did some major damage on bay window sill as well. Dave first did work for my husband over 20 years ago. Nothing has changed in all that time. He does the quality work now that he did then. In fact, he's better! He estimated the job, advised me where I could get the best costs on tile and styles (as I wanted to pick out the finishes). Gave me a spot on estimate of the time it would take and - as always - arrived at the hour promised to complete the task. It is beautiful and we absolutely love it! Somehow, he worked his magic to make the lines look straight!"

"Ron Bishop came out to do our work. We had a potting bench that was is disrepair and a shutter that had blown down from a second story window. Ron got right to work and did an incredible job on the bench repair. He did a job in hours that would have taken me weeks and multiple trips to the store. He also made quick work of remounting the shutter. Ron was very knowledgeable, extremely pleasant and a joy to deal with. Also, Mr Handyman’s office did well with scheduling and communication. Nice work and highly recommended."

"This was a big job that was part of a whole-house renovation. JA Drywall installed framing and drywall throughout my second floor (three bedrooms + hallway) that had experienced a fair amount of water damage as the result of a leaky roof. Juan and Joshua were great coordinating the project--super quick response time for a walk-through & estimate. And the crew were great---super nice guys who did a great job. "A+! THIS IS HOW SERVICE CALLS SHOULD ALL GO! I was given a service window between 9:00 and 11:30 am. To my delight, Eyal, the technician from Aviv Appliances arrived at 9:25. After explaining the problem, he immediately diagnosed the problem of a clogged condensation drain line, showed me where the problem was, what was causing it. He fixed the problem and offered a simple remedy to prevent future occurrences and the need for a service call. Additionally, the dishwasher was leaking during operation, and I was worried that the seal or gasket had gone bad. The technician diagnosed the problem as a dirty spray head and that the way dishes were loaded blocked the spray rotation. He cleaned and reset the part, returned it to its place and showed what to look out for in the future. The technician also offered tips for routine maintenance to optimize performance and cleaning. I have dealt with a variety of technicians in the past, some even replaced parts unnecessarily and charged for the "extra" labor. All I was charged today was the $99 minimum service charge I was quoted over the phone when making the appointment. I will not need service on these appliances any time soon, but his honesty, professionalism and willingness to offer advice left no doubt in my mine who I am going to call next time for any appliance service. We had a good feeling about hiring Dan for our project from his first visit to our house to provide the estimate.  As we discussed the various details of the door installation (both front and back doors), insulation requirements, and finish carpentry my husband and I found that we were on the same page as Dan.  He answered our questions and explained how he would proceed, which quickly put us at ease.  He followed up with a reasonable price quote so we gladly hired him.

Initially, Dan delayed starting our project because his helper had limited availability but once he started things proceeded smoothly.  We purchased the doors from Home Depot and Dan picked them up for us, saving us from paying delivery charges.  On the first day he removed the old doors, prepped the openings, then installed the new doors.  He wasn't able to finish the work for a few days because of inclement weather but he did return and complete everything

Dan handled every little detail, including: adding quarter-round oak molding to the inside threshold, using foam insulation between the door jamb and frame of the house, using masonry caulk between the exterior molding and the stone of our house.  He also installed composite molding (as we requested) to the exterior to prevent future maintenance issues.

In summary, Dan went the extra mile to handle every little detail of our project and the results are outstanding.  We look forward to hiring Dan in the near future.
