That is no fault of Easter Fence to estimate a quality end-to-end custom gate replacement (I wanted them to make it wider for future mower access) in a turnkey project format. I won't compare the cost of a cook-at-home dinner with the cost of dining in a nice restaurant and then complain about the restaurant dinner costing more. Only 3 of 4 companies were willing to install a roof over the deck. Our deciding factor was the variety of decking to choose from, the quality of decking, the timeline and how well Tom their sales person answered our questions and did not pressure us. He came to our house twice and we exchanged several emails prior to us signing the contract. We actually had one more company scheduled to give us a bid but after our second meeting with Tom we were ready to book the job. The owner Mike and his office person Andrew maintained contact with us and answered questions. The job ended up costing a little more and took a little longer than expected. It was due to 2 unexpected issues beyond Intelligent or our control which caused a slight change in drawings, engineer approval and city inspection. Love our new covered deck!!
