"Marcos and his crew redid my back patio by pitching it away from the house so water would drain . He also added on to the patio using both my pavers and additional ones . He used Belgian blocks as an edge. Most importantly, he fit pieces perfectly around areas which could not use a whole paver. Magnificent job all around."

"Hired them to do a concrete driveway (two and half cars wide from two cars wide) and a step up to front/side porch concrete underneath, with pavers on top. I had a blacktop driveway, concreate walkway, grass and 4 large bushes that needed to be removed before any work can be done. The staff is professional, efficient and friendly. Highly recommend!"

"Stonegate did an excellent job on the repairs while maintaining the original appearance of the house. Tim provided great advice on how to proceed with the repairs and the crew was courteous and conscientious. They were careful not to damage our landscaping and cleaned up nicely at the end of each work day not leaving any mess or potentially dangerous conditions when the left the job site. The project took five days from start to finish which was just what Tim told us to anticipate. Approximate cost was $15,000.00."

"Overall, a very professional outfit that charges a reasonable price and delivers high quality work. <br /> A good sign was the honesty in the appraisal of what needed to be done.  In my case, the main issue was that I didn't just need a new flat roof, I needed to have some restructuring done to the roof itself.  That turned out to be exactly correct.  They did that, the roof, gutter work, and then some painting. <br /> Another good sign is the number of staff that these guys have.  On the day that they did the garage roof, they show up with 8 guys.  Ok, so, it's only a 1 car garage.  Well, 8 guys who all know what they are doing can knock out a new garage roof pretty efficiently.  This is not a vendor you will have to chase to have them show up and do the job.  <br /> Two winters have passed and now we are into a third winter.  That's enough time to make a fair assessment on a roof job.  Well, I can report no leaks, no drama, no issues whatsoever.  Nice. <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Valley Cottage, NY

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
