"We have now used fine design two times and would them over and over again. Last September they turned our screened in room "Florida room" into a live able space. Dave, the owner helped us design our favorite room in the house. Adding new walls, floor and siding to the outside of the house that matched the rest of the house! It is now my families favorite room in the house. Then last year we had a terrible leak in our kitchen and one of our bathrooms. I called Dave immediately and he came right over to take a look. Dave worked with us the whole time and met with our insurance company to help us! Having no kitchen with two young boys was super difficult but Dave and his staff were here everyday working diligently. Again, he sat with us and we were able to design our dream kitchen and bathroom. Whenever I had a question he was only a quick phone call or text away! Fine design has such amazing employees and I could not be any happier with the jobs they have done for us!"

"After an extensive investigation taking into account online feedback/reviews and speaking to other construction firms, I decided on Nunez Construction to fully renovate my entire house consisting of three separate apartments. Efren (the owner) was able to fully understand the work required and also suggested additional modifications; some requiring no additional cost which made quite a difference to the appearance and functionality of the units. It was quite evident that he was extremely knowledgeable on all types of challenges and knew exactly how they should be handled which he was able to explain to me in the simplest terms. The company employees some of the most skilled people in the trade in all areas of demolition, construction, painting, and plumbing and I was amazed how well and quickly they were able to complete all the work. Eric (Forman/Project manager) is without a doubt one of the most experienced hands-on people you can have involved and managing the team. If at any point you had a question or were unsure about how something was coming out (which is common with any remodel) he has a way of assuring you, and is open to reworking things until they are to your standard. "We live in a prewar coop building in Manhattan and were in need of a kitchen, living and dining room/den renovation. Because of the limitations in our building, we were not optimistic that many changes could be made that would dramatically alter the feel/function of the space. Inson Wood proved us completely wrong. With his architectural eye and his impeccable design aesthetic we (and everyone who has been here before and after) experiences our apartment as an entirely different living space. Even family members are shocked at the transformation. I think that what Inson accomplished was the product of a few significant factors. First, Inson asks you what you want and seriously considers how you live. If Inson thinks that different approaches should be considered for what you want, he provides renderings of each option so that you can easily visualize and imagine them. Ultimately, Inson respects your preferences and works with them, elevating them to a level far above what you had imagined. Inson uses the highest quality vendors (whom we NEVER would have found) and expertly guides you through choices (note: follow his recommendations!!!)- our walls would never have had dimension and our kitchen backsplash never have been so unique (two examples) if not for the artisans that Inson uses. Inson is also willing to have you be as much or as little involved in the process as you want to be. I did go with Inson to choose many pieces of furniture but realized after a certain point that his taste point made me confident in him choosing much finishing work (ex: window treatments, decorative cushions, which I love) without me. As with all design work, there are always glitches and Inson was extremely responsive and responsible for taking care of those as they came up. We are nothing less than thrilled to come home each evening and enjoy our space, which feels like a luxurious retreat perfectly tailored to us."

"Imperial Contracting installed laminate flooring in the hallway. They also applied Thorocoating to the back wall of the house and took care of any repairs to the brickwork. Both jobs were done with good professional standards. I also had several interior rooms painted. This took longer than expected but they did all the necessary prepping of the walls with skim coating before priming and painting. And that is important. The only issue I have is the post-painting clean up should have been as thorough as the rest of their work. But they say they ran out of time."
