"Dillon and his partner came to our home precisely at the appointed time, unloaded and prepared to work within minutes. They were professional in dress and discussion of the project. They proceeded to work immediately and explained to me a final overview of what they planned to do and estimated the time required to do the job. Dilon supplied and distributed the total amount of insulation we had contracted and finished the job right on time including a complete cleanup of debris and took the time to use a blower to complete the removal of all evidence of insulation dust in my garage. Dillon and his teammate demonstrated the very best of courtesy, fulfillment of commitment and delivery of promised service. I will recommend them to others and look forward to seeing them again in our neighborhood! Great folks - Great job! Elton Warren"

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the pleasure of working with Homestead A/C, and I can’t say enough about how professional and dependable they are. Our technician, Alex, was outstanding from start to finish. He arrived on time, was well-mannered and respectful, and immediately put us at ease with his professionalism. What impressed us most was Alex’s efficiency and knowledge. He carefully explained everything he was doing, patiently answered all of our questions, and never once tried to upsell us on unnecessary services or products. It’s rare these days to find a company that values honesty as much as expertise, but Homestead A/C truly delivers on both. We appreciated how thorough Alex was in making sure we understood our system and what maintenance would help us long-term. His respectful approach and clear communication gave us complete confidence in the work being done. If you’re looking for an HVAC company that is trustworthy, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about their customers, look her"

"We hired Guardian to install our security system at our Washington, DC, business. The service and quality of the work was horrible. We had cameras and an alarm system installed; it was a relatively large system. They outsource most of the work to various vendors. They could not manage their vendors; what was supposed to take a week took two months. The sales rep did not return calls, and you could never get anyone in management on the phone. Random people would show up at unannounced times. The few things that an actual Guardian employee did were they made a huge mess of our newly remodeled office and were rude to our staff. We have offices in five markets across the US and have high security at each; we have never had such a poor experience."

"Overall process was great. I reached out and had a response within the hour. I called and explained what I needed. No sales pitch, just great service. Had me scheduled for the same day. Raul came out, removed the two animals and did a review of the house with suggestions to help seal and prevent. Very good service all around and fair pricing. I would call these folks again if I have another issue. Highly recommend them."

FAQs for spray foam insulation projects in Van Alstyne, TX

Local and federal rebates are available for insulation installation, which can significantly reduce your overall costs. Many utility companies offer incentives or rebates to homeowners who improve their home's energy efficiency. Contact your local energy provider or government agencies to learn about available programs in your area, and consult with a professional insulation installer to maximize your savings.

It's not necessary to remove old insulation before adding new insulation, as long as the existing insulation is in good condition—dry, free of mold, and not damaged. Adding new insulation on top of old insulation can improve your home's energy efficiency by increasing the overall R-value. However, if the old insulation is wet, moldy, or damaged, it's best to remove it before installing new insulation to prevent potential health risks and ensure optimal performance.

Insulating a house takes between five and twelve hours for batts or boards, and two to five hours for spray foam or blown-in insulation. The exact time depends on the size of your home, the type of insulation, and the accessibility of the areas being insulated. Keep in mind that projects may take longer if old insulation needs removal, if there's a larger square footage, or if spaces are difficult to reach.
