"We have a long standing relationship with Fredrick James Construction. We have worked with this company for over 10 years. They have replaced flooring for us and have done numerous home improvement projects. Our most recent project was the re-siding of our home. We had Fredrick James Construction remove our old vinyl siding, and re-side our home with Hardy Plank. We also had them replace 10 dated vinyl windows and replace them with 10 new, vinyl windows. The house looks amazing. Everyone on the crew is polite and very skilled. As with all remodel projects, some unexpected 'surprises' arose, but as usual, Fred and his crew knew exactly how to address the problem and everything turned out wonderfully. What I appreciate about Fredrick James Construction is that each of the workers are respectful, skilled and work hard to finish the project in a timely manner. We recommend Fredrick James Construction highly for any of your remodel or repair needs."

"James did a great job repairing my bathroom floor. It was a complicated repair that was difficult to figure out how to approach so everything would go back together just like it was before the damage occurred. He came in with a fair price and did the work in minimum time. I'm very pleased with the work, and I would recommend him for other similar jobs. I hope to use him again on another project I have in the works, one that is more involved, and one I've needed for a long time now."

I recently left the union as a journeyman carpenter and superintendent. I built custom homes in my 20’s after graduating from college with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Before college I worked in all phases of construction from concrete and framing to finish work. I have a well rounded understanding of building and am passionate about what I do and the quality of work I provide. In my personal life I am led by Jesus. I enjoy running several times a week and working out in my home gym. My goals are to provide value to my clients and give back to my community.

"I was selling my house and called JC for some estimates. After listening to me, he recommended I sell the house without doing the repairs. He reasoned that in the current housing market, it would save time and money to NOT do the repairs. I'm so glad I listened to him! JC was EXACTLY RIGHT. He saved me a ton of money, time and headaches. What a professional! He took time and energy to give me great advice at no benefit to himself. That is a true class act. I can't imagine a more trustworthy, personable contractor."

"This was a big project and we could not be happier with the end result. From start to finish we were working with a bunch of pros who have been doing this for years. Their pricing is not low but given the high standards of quality they have, it was extremely fair. A key positive is that every step of the way if alterations to the original bid happened (Our roof needed to be replaced due to unseen rot) then the communication was exceptional and there were zero surprises in the cost. The company employees from estimate to design to the actual work were great. They are not only pros but good people as well. Our on site project manager is an absolute treasure. His work and his communication was meticulous. Further, they pick the best subcontractors in town so all the various trades that work on the project added great value to the project in so many ways. The project did drag on as all of these major renovations do. That had nothing to do with the urgency of the team. It had to do with the industry right now where all subs are out for weeks. Bottom line if you are in need of renovating your house seriously consider these guys. I would recommend them in a heartbeat."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Veneta, OR

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
