"When American Jewel installed the door I gave them A grades as I thought they did an excellent job.  But after using the door for a few weeks I noticed the dead bolt didn't close completely, but only about 2/3, and also noticed the screen door was no longer aligned properly, so although it closed and looked right, the door was slightly off and it would no longer lock.  I called American Jewel and they scheduled the installer to return and make the minor corrections.  The installer did not show up.  When I called American Jewel again, they did not return my calls. I complained to Angie's List, and via their complaint resolution process American Jewel contacted me.  They were very apologetic and attributed it to a mix up, accepted responsibility and sent the installer to my home to make the minor corrections.  I would use American Jewel again, despite this hiccup, as my wife and I like the door they installed, feel we received excellent value, and ultimately American Jewel followed through on the minor problems I described and corrected them all."

He was flexible in scheduling and assigned Hash, one of his experienced technicians. Hash kept me updated on his specific ETA that day and was precisely on time. He inspected its' operation, etc., and reviewed with me the need to adjust the chain, replace the springs that he estimated were about 7 years old, align the rails and adjust the rollers. When he was finished the door operated perfectly as well as a new system and I felt very secure. Tight, quiet and smooth! Hash was skilled and very professional!!!"
