"Our refrigerator stopped working while under warranty. LG directed us to D&T, the local authorized service center. Dani in the office was friendly and helpful and scheduled technician Justin to come out on a Saturday. He was pleasant, considerate, and professional. Justin replaced the compressor and installed a motherboard update. The fridge is working better now than when it was new. We are very pleased with the service provided by D&T, definitely recommend them, and would call again for any future appliance repairs."

"Our 1970s wall oven stopped working, and replacing it with a brand new oven wasn't an option (the standard size of wall ovens has changed in the past 50 years, so a brand new one wouldn't fit). I found a newer/used option that fit our existing cabinet, but most companies I contacted wouldn't do installation of a used oven. Streicher Appliance took care it for us. It wasn't an easy job (getting the old oven out was rather difficult), but Jon got it done, and we have a working oven for the first time in over a year! Thank you!"

"It went well. I could have had less work done and saved money but I wanted the kitchen drain system updated so it would drain properly. This should avoid future problems. I called the plumber and was not interested in differing estimates. Randy's was prompt and explained the need to update the drain system to avoid future problems and I agreed. If and when we update plumbing in other parts of the house I  would consider this company for the work."

They went above and beyond by coordinating the installation of several appliances at one time even though the company we purchased from said we couldn't do that. Michelle, the office manager, was wonderfully helpful in the coordination of everything, and their installers, Oakly and Jordan, did an amazing job of installing all the appliances and took the time to explain the operation to us. "We were unaware of an extra-large build-up of lint in our dryer.  The lint eventually caught fire and we had a small fire inside our dryer.  Fortunately, the fire did not spread and nothing was damaged except for the dryer.  We called SOS to see if the dryer could be repaired -- we were thinking it would need to be replaced.  The technician came out, inspected the dryer and told us it could definitely be salvaged.  We were thrilled.  He worked on the dryer immediately, but had to schedule the vent cleaning a few days later.  However, we were not charged until the vent cleaning was completed.  SOS provided me with one of the best experiences I have had with a repair company.  I was thrilled with the end result!"

"The technician (Tom Nightengale) was very accomodating and offered to come over and look at our leak on a Saturday, because we were having trouble scheduling a time during the work week (because of our schedules, not his). Tom offered to do the repair for free, even though it was no longer under warranty. Tom spent some time reviewing some other issues around our house, so we insisted on paying the "trip fee." Cady has changed ownership since they did the original work at our house, but I was very pleased with the quality of the interaction with Tom. I am planning to have them back to change out all of the electrical outlets at our house from two prong to three prong."

"Sears' package of services allowed me to worry very little because they coordinated all the trades. Sears has a longstanding reputation for standing behind their products, something I had not found to be true with other contractors I had used in the past. Thecarpenter/job coordinator who did the refacing work was wonderful to work with, making minor modifiations as necessary to fit my needs.  I had not originally intended to purchase new appliances, but Sears offered me such a great discount that I added a new cooktop, double ovens (which required some cabinet modifications), and a dishwasher, which were installed by the carpenter.  He also coordinated the quartz countertop and flooring installations. All of the work Sears did was well done and professional. After the job was completed, I noticed that a door in the den that had to be cut off to accommodate the new flooring was a bit rough, and they sent the carpenter back to fix it within a week. I was somewhat concerned that I would not like the laminate used to reface the wood cabinets, but it has turned out to be very attractive, more durable than wood, and easy to clean.  No one can even find the seams in the quartz countertop or the Congoleum flooring, so I feel that their workmen are very experienced and skilled. I not only would recommend Sears to others, I would use them again for other work."
