The team was prompt, professional, and courteous. The challenge was moving from a 3-story condo with a curved staircase. The master bedroom was located on the third floor and had some very heavy furniture to be moved. All small items were previously boxed and ready to go, so the move mostly entailed all of the large items. I was very impressed with the care the team took to wrap and pad my furniture and how careful they were with moving everything. This was no easy task. Moving the furniture into my house was also done with care and the team even assembled the bedframes and placed all of the furniture in the locations at my direction, even willing to re-arrange and offer suggestions.

As great as all that was, there were some issues. I had an arcade machine located at the bottom level. The team mentioned they did not have experience in moving such a piece of equipment. Since it had to be moved... had no choice but to have them make an attempt. Unfortunately, the glass covering the monitor cracked. Not a big deal, but still unfortunate. The other problem was my grill that had to move. The team picked it up from another location and transported it to the house. During transport the grill was not secured properly and it arrived damaged (this wasn't a cheap grill either). The impressive thing is the team owned-up to their mistake and made it right by paying for the repairs.

Overall, I would recommend this company and even use them again for a move.

"I contacted 3 Shimy's Home Maintenance & Repair because I had several small works of repairs and installation to do very quickly, following the move-out of our tenants. Michael has returned my call promptly, and he was able to squeeze into his schedule quickly to help me. The next day he was at the house to do the work. Excellent work and cleanup perfect. I asked Michael to provide me with invoices and he has sent them the next day. Being myself a certified General Contractor in industrial, commercial and residential since 26 years, in Québec, Canada, I can assess very quickly the skills of a subcontractor. I asked Michael an estimate to install a Bathroom Vanity Top of 104 inches with 2 bowls, and I received the estimate the next day. He will install when the order will be ship at store. Michael is personable, knowledgeable in many trades, very professional, efficient and concerned about details, work clean and it cleans up once the work is completed. The service provided was high-quality, with excellent time-on-task. I highly recommend him."
