Today, we specialize in providing design build services for remodeling residential and commercial buildings. Our skill set is framed in meeting the needs of our customers with a focus on troubleshooting problems and recommending specific solutions. We self perform some carpentry related tasks and have long standing relationships with many specialty contractors in our area. We always rely on licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians and electricians to do specialty work. We are well equipped to handle all building permitting requirements and ensuring all the proper inspections are completed as occasion requires. That said, I do take some responsibility for the issues, as I broke my own #1 rule: NEVER, NEVER, EVER, pay a vendor in full for their product prior to delivery, especially when that product is delivered months out. A deposit is fine, full payment is a HUGE mistake. A full payment requirement puts the buyer at a distinct disadvantage when problems arise, and problems will arise. A paid in full vendor has no “skin in the game” to communicate, keep commitments, and solve issues."
