SES is a locally owned and operated company that specializes in bathrooms and kitchens, home remodeling, renovation, and commercial construction services. Our company is licensed and insured, which means you can enjoy the peace of mind that comes with hiring a reputable contractor.
"SES was hired to restore an old building in the Marigny based on architectural plans. The project took twice as long as necessary and was a financial disaster for several reasons. 1). At the last minute, SES brought in a foreman who had never run a job site. Imagine the lack of judgment to trusting a project of this size to someone who had so little experience. He was directly responsible for major mistakes in construction such as attaching a balcony incorrectly, mismanagement of subs, and framing mistakes. He was fired after my job but that’s too late. No one stepped up to help when he was blundering. Shawn who runs the firm was invisible as the mistakes compounded. 2). Ses had taken in way more business as a firm than they could handle and were behind and struggling on multiple projects. We almost had a full support group with all the projects faltering. Once the project became a disaster, the real nonsense began. Their mistakes had driven their cost out of control. They decided to make the wrong decision and pressured all subs into cutting costs and look for anything to upcharge. They stopped showing up to finish the job. Currently, a full two years after the work was competed, I have 1). wooden Spanish cedar columns splitting apart and needing repair. 2). A roof and brick wall that is leaking because they were too cheap to put a proper cap on a new brick wall and roof. Perry is the guy who quotes and promises you the world, the second things go wrong, he says “I’m just an estimator”. Perry’s word is no guarantee. Don’t fall for the charm of this team as they are ruthlessly about the money. God forbid they make mistakes, they are not gonna make it right. Zero warranty or help fixing these problems. No ownership or offer of doing the work at cost. If they bother to come back with a quote, it is a absurdly predatory prices. Zero remorse for building, installing, and painting these columns which are falling apart. If you do business with these guys I suggest you have an incredibly tight contract with time limits and a good lawyer to fight after they make mistakes. As for all the positive reviews on Angie’s, they have an office staff that must be cranking them out cause I have had quite a different experience."

Local Business Owner with insurance and licesing we ofer financing options
"Trinity Construction came out and gave general advice and options for my roof problems (regardless of whether they got my business). They were also the only company that would check for hurricane straps, something I thought made sense since the roof would be opened to the rafters. They stripped off the old leaking metal roof and slats, and then installed OSB decking and quality asphalt shingles with continuous roof vents. The crews were hard working and diligent, answering any questions we had. This was a large roof (area like for 2 houses), and they got the re-build & re-roof done in 2 days. Very impressive. I have had weeks of off and on heavy rain storms since, and the new roof is performing flawlessly. All this and a warranty too."

You should regrout tile every 10 to 15 years, provided it is well-maintained with regular cleaning and sealing. Over time, grout can deteriorate due to exposure to moisture, foot traffic, and the use of cleaning agents. If you start to see cracks, discoloration, crumbling grout, or loose tiles, it’s a sign that regrouting is needed sooner.
The most effective way to clean grout involves a combination of powerful cleaning agents and the right tools. Using a dedicated grout brush intensifies the cleaning process, ensuring a deep clean. Create a powerful homemade solution by mixing baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and dish soap to break down deeply embedded dirt. After cleaning, reseal the grout to lock in protection and maintain its appearance.
You can't regrout tile without removing the existing grout and expect good, long-lasting results. You must replace the old grout when it begins to crumble and fail. New grout cannot properly adhere to existing grout, meaning moisture will still reach the damaged layer and cause additional water damage, which will be more costly to deal with in the long run.
Visible indicators, such as cracks, stains, chipping, and mold growth, signal that your grout is compromised and no longer maintains its bonding strength. If you notice these issues, cleaning alone won't restore the grout's integrity. In such cases, consider complete or partial regrouting to preserve your surfaces and prevent further damage.
