"We hired Deck & Shed Pros for a diverse set of projects: a custom-built shed, replacement of our window wells, and some repairs to our stone patio. And we couldn’t be happier with how all of them turned out! During the contract phase, Jim, Jen and Victor were incredibly patient in answering all our questions. They were also very flexible on any design issues, ensuring that the projects could be done exactly how we wanted them. For example, they were able to use the same brand and color of vinyl siding on the shed that we recently had installed on our addition (so now they match perfectly), and they adjusted their plans for the window wells to accommodate our chosen style of wells/covers and the necessary depth for digging them out. When Victor and his crew came to install the window wells and make some patio repairs, the work was done beautifully and efficiently. The crew worked really hard, and they cleaned up the yard afterward so there was no debris left behind. One basement window pane got cracked as they were removing the old brick-and-concrete window wells, and they did a wonderful job of replacing the whole window with plexiglass (which was a painstaking task given the age of the window and how it was installed). People don’t usually think of window wells as beautiful, but the new ones that they installed for us (galvanized steel with polycarbonate covers) have totally transformed and modernized that part of the house. Victor and his team were so friendly and easy to work with. They also poured the concrete pad for our shed, making sure it was smooth and level—and in the exact location that we wanted. Victor even spread grass seed and straw over any disturbed areas. When the shed was ready for installation, the manufacturer’s crew came out to build it on-site. They were super professional, and the whole thing was done in about 6 hours. It’s made of high-quality materials and it’s gorgeous to look at—really complements the style of our home. A couple items had been missing from the shed kit, so someone came right out a few days later to make the necessary fixes. When we saw that it needed a single step under the side door, Jim had someone here within about a week to build one from scratch. Everyone was very prompt and responsive to any issues that came up. Through all of it, the communication with Jen and Jim was outstanding—they were always reachable by phone or email, and Jim would send out email updates every Friday, to keep us apprised of any developments or changes to the timeframe. I highly recommend Deck & Shed Pros for sheds, decks, or any other outside contracting work. (If you’re not sure whether it’s something they do, just ask! We didn’t know what kind of company to hire for the window wells, but they got it done with no problem.) We are thrilled with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to call them again for other jobs in the future."

"I'm very pleased with Ted Naydan. He explained/showed me his credentials/license before starting. He took the time to show me all information from start to finish. I went to Patio Enclosures and Ted gave me a tour of the Sun-Rooms & the place of business at Patio Enclosures. He worked with me on a budget that I could afford on getting my room. I would most recommend him as first choice if anyone is seeking to have an add on to their home."

"After putting off our kitchen renovation for years, we finally decided to do it and chose VKB Frederick. We met with a few different companies before making our decision, and we felt the most comfortable with their approach and the ideas they gave us for the space. There was a small issue during the installation that we noticed and brought to our project managers attention. He responded quickly, had it looked at, and made sure it was corrected instead of making excuses. I really appreciated that because problems can happen during any construction project. What matters to me is how they are handled. Everything came together beautifully in the end. The cabinets, countertops and backsplash look great together, and the new layout works so much better for our family. We are very pleased with our kitchen."

"We hired skills in construction llc to build our shed. The shed was a kit. The assembly of the shed was smooth. Skills in Construction was able to give us accurate estimates of time and additional materials needed. Very helpful and friendly. Would hire again."

"We selected Talon for building our screened porch, and they did a stupendous job. This was a project that was very complex, especially with the way our home’s roof comes into the space. I went with Talon over so many other contractors because of the level of trust we had with them, that they care about quality, the full understanding from them that they wouldn’t take the job on if they didn’t feel it would work, and their professional attitude and incredible knowledge. All throughout construction, they showed incredible care while working, and were extremely respectful of our property and daily routine. They went the extra mile so many times to ensure this was well built. They take immense pride in their work. It’s an added bonus that everyone we talked to were extremely kind, they are all good people, and it was such a pleasure to have conversations with everyone who works at Talon. If you have a home project you’ve been considering, don’t hesitate, contact Talon now!"
