"I had Home Solutions Handyman replace a wooden door between my garage and home. The original door never really closed that well, strong windstorms would often blow it open despite being locked, and had about a one inch gap between the bottom of the door and interior flooring that we had to use a draft snake to keep the heat/air from going out into the garage (and bugs from just walking in). After being annoyed with this door since I purchased my home twelve years ago, I finally decided to do something about it. The gentleman who came out to do the estimate was prompt and listened to my thoughts and what I wanted from the replacement. I received a detailed and accurate quote via email a day or two later. The quote was only for labor and stated that I would supply the replacement door and lock set. I didn't have an issue with that since it allow me to pick out a door from a local big box store with a minimum of dents or other damage and get a lockset that matched the others in my home. The technician, named Steve I believe, was on-time and seemed very detailed with his work ensuring the door was properly installed. He went the extra mile to make sure I was happy. After a couple of weeks, the door works perfectly fine and we are very happy with the quality of his workmanship. I am certainly considering Home Solutions Handyman for other carpentry projects I need done around the house as our budget allows."

I checked around several local places and could not beat their prices even with shipping cost to Troy Ohio. I ordered baseboard molding and trim in poplar. Quality was excellent and shipping was extremely fast. I was so happy with my purchase that I called again for replacement interior doors and closet doors. "They knew they had to be here by 8 each day so my wife to let them in and get to work on time but was 35 minutes late the 1st day and 10-15 minutes late each subsequent day. The drywall patch work is not smooth or blended in well and you can easily see where the work was done. Painting was even worse. Wall to ceiling lines were totally messy and nowhere near straight. Had visible roller marks all over the walls, numerous spots were you can see through to the color they painted over and there is drywall dust embedded in the paint. They obviously sanded the drywall repair on the ceiling while the walls were still tacky. They painted a dark basement stairway with no extra lighting. Needless to say it doesn't look good. Had them out twice to correct the issues and the wall to ceilings lines are much better, but they never managed to fix the rest. I finally gave up Will never use again or recommend to anyone."
