"We purchased a deal on Angie's List ($199 for $500 of Custom Glide-Out Shelving for Existing Cabinetry) for our kitchen.  The trouble was - when the money was deducted from our account, instead of it being $199, they took out $500.  I am not sure if this was on the provider's end or a mistake from Angie's List.  The whole thing made me feel very nervous, so I cancelled the transaction.  Angie's List was very good about refunding the money.  I was not sure which rating to give since we did not use them, yet it was not a positive transaction due to the financial issue.  So I gave them a "C" for lack of an "N/A" choice for rating. <br />"

We had a hard time finding someone to quote this roof replacement because of the steep pitch and we were replacing a shake shingle roof. Les replaced and repaired the siding on the house and garage. He repaired he soffit around the house. Les also painted the entire house and garage once all wood and siding was replaced or repaired. Les took care of many small details on his own, not needing to be told what to do. If something was not to his liking, he worked on it until it was. Les is very conscientious and is extremely reliable, not to mention that he is a very pleasant person to deal with. Even neighbors commented on his work ethic and abilities. The house looks brand new is now for sale."

"Our Larson storm door closer was caught by the wind and ripped the bracket away from the exterior door frame. Chris Engle promptly arrived when he said he would. Polite and professional, he accessed the damage and told me what he could do on the spot for the least amount of money. Not a pretty job for what he had to work with unless we wanted to replace the whole door and frame, but he made our exterior door and storm door useable. He also installed a wind chain on the storm door for added protection."
