"Floors Sag or Shake was one of three estimates we got to reinforce the sagging floors in four rooms of our older home. We went with them based on the work they proposed and their positive online reviews, and we are completely satisfied with their work. They worked over three days to pour concrete footings, jack up the floors as best as possible, and then add permanent supports. They also removed an old vapor barrier and installed a new one. Each day, they arrived early and worked through the day. They communicated well and were courteous and professional. Prior to their work, our floors were not even close to level. More importantly, when walking on them, we could feel them "giving" under our weight. Now, our floors feel solid and look level throughout the house. While this type of work isn't as "fun" as other renovations, the cost of this repair is worth the peace of mind. Every time we walk across our floors, we are reminded of our investment. We also feel good about the transferable warranty—should we ever sell our home, a prospective home owner will have a good indicator that we invested in keeping this home safe and stable. "Franklins crew arrived as schelduled and after inspeccting the pipes and septic system, determined it was NOT the main drain but merely a busted tub drain that had been damaged during a recent remodel. While there they replaced a p-trap, jetted the lines, emptied the septic tank and replaced the busted pipe. Their crew was AMAZING! They knew exactly what they were doing and didn't go out of their way to break the bank. The work was done in a timely manner and I was notified about each repair or procedure in real time via text or photos or call. I was in utter shock that I had been so bamboozled by such a trusted big name national plumber on my 1st estimate and will NEVER use another Septic Specialist/ Plumber unless it is Franklin's. Twice the work for less than half the original estimate and the work was honest and superior. I could not wait to write this review! It is so rare especially as a woman, to find honest contractors. I would highly recommend this company for all your septic and plumbing. There's a certain peace of mind that comes with knowing a company comes with good marks. "What an Amazing Company!! I had a Major Plumbing Issue after my son knocked the top off the toilet and busted the pipe that connects the water in to the wall. I got on Angie List and found Free Emergency Plumber.Com and within a half hour they were at my house. Not only did they fix the leak and the pipe for FREE, but the technician was also able to assist me in getting my house dried out (slightly flooded three or four rooms)! The guys at Free Emergency Plumber.Com even helped when dealing with my insurance company. Start to finish they handled just about everything for me, all I had to do was sit back and let them work. "They were very easy to make any appointment with and came within the week. The only issue was that the service man did not come with a ladder in order to clean out the vent from the roof and had to reschedule to come back to finish the job. Also it wasn't stated anywhere on the Angie's List deal that we bought that a roof-vent cleaning is an extra $25 for a 1-story and $50 for a 2-story. Other than that, the dryer is working much more efficiently and the overall service was very good. They ended up giving us a discount on the roof-vent cleaning since they weren't prepared on the initial visit.

"Richard is excellent! The only problem with Richard is that he is so busy that he still hasn't had time to get on my next project of levelling the floor, installing the heat strips and setting 500 sq ft of 6x36 ceramic tile. He's going to start that next weekend and I'm sure that I will be giving you another review. All joking aside, Richard is very professional. He has very good equipment which says knowledge and success. He priced the job low and still did several extra things that I asked him to do while he was there. He asked for no extra money. Being a business owner myself, I felt that the job was so well done that I increased the total by 30% and still felt that I was underpaying. (Update) First let me say that Richard is an outstanding human being. I would trust him with my wallet. He works very hard to please the Customer. We are doing a complete remodel of our guest house and so far Richard has done the entire bedroom. That includes sheetrock, tile floor, paint and trim. As I stated in the previous review, he did a great job hanging the rock and did it so cheap that I paid him extra. The tile in that bedroom, about 450SqFt., is 6" X 36" on a very unlevel concrete slab. He worked his butt off getting that tile down. It wasn't perfect but I don't think anyone could have done better with that very difficult tile job. So, the sheetrock and tile were very good but then came the painting. The painting was really bad. I think that he got behind his scheduling because of the high difficulty of the tile job and rushed the paint. He chose to spray the walls and there is overspray everywhere. He put down tarps but they mare really for brush and roller work, not sprayers. Paint also shows the flaws in the sheetrock finishing and there were more quite a few. Richard worked diligently trying to fix them. I actually felt sorry for him, paid him and let him get on to his next job. I have another painter coming in to repair the paint job and I am working nights with paint thinner to clean the tile myself. I would still use Richard on some projects now that I know his skill level. I just expected too much from a man that bills himself as a handyman. All that said, if you have any tile job, Richard is as good as any contractor out there. I don't want to cost Richard any work. I own my business and admit that I have high expectations from other self-employed businessmen."

"I have had them for 19 years. I have had a number of issues, primarily with my air conditioning systems. It can be really costly to repair, so I have kept my policy intact. They have also made repairs to my microwave oven, my garage door a couple of times, plumbing, and electrical. They are always there for me and have been pretty responsive to get somebody to come out and fix whatever is broken. It can be as quick as the same day or 2-3 days later, it all depends on when I call and what type of service I am asking for. You have to go through a call center and push this and that. The call center could use some improvement. It's like a robo call. Once you talk to a human, they are pretty professional."
