"Love my re-styled heirloom pieces! It took me forever to find the perfect color and fabric choices for my living room pieces, but MC Interior's insistence on my having a high comfort level supported the entire process. I made countless visits and decision changes on everything from fabrics to pillow shapes. Each step of the way was met with responsiveness and patience to make it to the next step. End result-beautiful craft work literally tailored to my artistic preference. Professionalism extended to pick-up and delivery service as well, which rose to the challenge of navigating hefty items safely back home. They now serve as my unparalleled source for furniture make-overs."

"Living room chair needed extensive repair and new upholstery.  They provided excellent help in choosing the fabric.   The repair is outstanding.  It's totally solid.  The recliner in the library also needed reupholstering and repair of one arm, which was loose.  This chair is now better than when it was new.  The arms and seat are stronger and have better cushioning.  he arm covers completely encircle the arms and attach to themselves with velcro.  The quality of the workmanship if precise and meticulous, as is the work on the living room chair.  The (expensive) kitchen stool (on a rotating base, with thick cushionng and arm rests) developed a "list" to the right.   The craftsmen at Yi's took it apart, found a broken support, replaced it with one that was three times thicker, and reassembled it.  I'm sure this stool will now support anyone, regardless of weight. <br /> Pick-up and delivery was accomplished by very careful and polite company employees.  They took great care to avoid touching the walls or woodwork when picking upi the furniture, and again when it was finihed and delivered. <br /> My wife is entirely satisfied with every aspect of the work.  It was slightly expensive, but the quality and professionalism are well worth the cost.   It's cheaper than buying new pieces, and the furniture came back better than when it was new.   We could not be more gratified with the results. <br /> <br />"

"I found Sparkle because of excellent reviews on Angie's List. The reviews did not lead me astray. I had a Danish teak chair from the 1960s that needed cushions. I had found some great vintage upholstery fabric from the era at a specialty store and Sparkle was happy to use that rather than selling me their own fabric. left the chair and fabric with them--they said my job would be complete in two weeks. The chair was ready a day early and I was very pleased with the result. They were careful to replicate vintage details, including the piping on both sides so the cushions can be flipped. The quality is excellent. I had some trouble getting the chair in my car, and the gentleman helping me load it was incredibly helpful. They are very pleasant folks to work with and I understand why their reviews are so good. Upholstering is expensive no matter where you go, but at least with Sparkle, you get what you pay for."

"Amazing service and attention to detail from quote to delivery.  They contacted me several times during the process to check on important details to assure job would be perfect.  Delivery staff was able to manage tight staircase that the original furniture delivery company could not.  Price was very competitive given the size of the job and high quality.  The best experience I have had with a reupholsterer, and I've had many.  Will definitely recommend UR&SF to friends in the trade.  GREAT JOB! <br />"

"We have 8 teak dining room chairs from the 1980s that were in desperate need of reupholstery. 2 with arms, 6 armless. Seats & backs. I saw an advertisement for $30 per item for labor deal, if you bring in your furniture. I called around a few other places, saw the reviews on Angie's list. This was well worth the nearly one hour drive there and a 2nd back in traffic, twice: once to drop off and a second to pick up my order. Not hard to find the store if you pay attention to the address numbers. Don't expect luxurious surroundings; it is in a nondescript little strip mall. Once there, you'll find an extensive selection of fabric rolls in the cluttered showroom. The owners were very nice, attentive, and not in the least bit pushy. The project would have been finished in less than a week had I chosen something in house. There was a strong contender which would have been less expensive than the one I wound up selecting. However, I became obsessed with a sample that was a little more substantial and which had to be ordered. That added a week to the due date, which was fine. The owner, CeCe, was very kind-- suggested if I wanted to save money, I could buy the stain-resister spray myself. I opted to have her company do this so I wouldn't have to deal with the mess, the smell, and the potential of procrastination. As it is, the assembled chairs look wonderful, but I still have 2 left to complete. When you opt to save money by reassembling chairs yourself, you risk not getting around to completing the task. There are the pesky little details you have to fuss over (or not), like staining the little wooden plugs that need to be glued  in over the screws that hold everything in place. <br />"

"It looks better than it did when we bought it. They also helped realign the hinges when they realized they were a little messed up. They are very nice people who know their business. Would strongly recommend to anyone in need of furniture repair."

"King Upholstery had previously made slipcovers for my club chairs, and covered the seats for my dining-room chairs, so I knew I would have exemplary service for the sofa. But Kathy outdid herself giving me personal service for the sofa. After I had selected the fabric to be used, and placed the order, she telephoned the next day to point out that the fabric was not washable, so would be unsuitable for a slipcover. Upholstery was not much more expensive, so I opted for that. About ten days later, the sofa was picked up from my home, and a little over two weeks later, returned beautifully upholstered. I couldn't be happier."
