We received an estimate for cleaning our chimney and fireplace when purchasing our home and the work ended up being far more extensive than the original estimate (major safety issue was found during cleaning). A&T Chimneys visited our home 4 times over the course of 2 months to finish the work. They worked around our schedules and were always on time, worked hard, and thoroughly explained all the work and future work. They were extremely reasonably priced and we do not believe we would have received anywhere near the same level of service from another provider.

"Alexander was referred to me by one of my friends in the Army. The military moved my family across the country to Chevy Chase, MD. We bought a house site unseen, and showed up to discover the home was a total disaster. My wife was in tears. "This was a purchase of tile for the main bathroom (second of three bathrooms that needed complete reno). I am very fussy - want tile made in the U.S., want a certain look, and don't want beige. That makes it hard to find tile in my price range. Jud had a line that no one else in the area carries - McIntyre. I went over to look and found something I really liked. Overall the price was OK but the decorative pieces were super-expensive. We decided to take the plunge.
FYI, they have a nice selection; none of it is inexpensive. 
We worked with Holly who was extremely nice and patient but I didn't have confidence that she really knew much about tile. As with the other high-end store we'd worked with for our downstairs bath, I ended up doing all the calculations myself. Very nerve-wracking when you are talking about custom tile and thousands of dollars. 
Like the other high-end place, they charge for delivery which I find to be super-chintzy. 
We did have one small problem (not Jud's fault) and Holly very promptly tried to resolve it for us but it turned out that the manufacturer doesn't make the kind of corner piece we needed. Also, our contractor was worried that the decorative pieces should not be used on the floor (big panic!) and Holly was able to get the answer from the manufacturer within a couple of hours. 
All's well that end's well - the tile is gorgeous and our contractor was able to come up with a very creative solution for the two corner pieces.

"Excellent! They're very realiable, prompt and showed up everyday. I wanted to be there throughout installation process so I requested that the stop work on occasions when I was going out of town. The rate for installation was cheaper than others I received and their work ethic is great along with the pride they take in providing good quality bricklaying. I highly recommend them. Very easy to communicate with and friendly workers who always gave insight on how I could improve the curb appeal to house. Will be looking forward to working with them more. Have some pillars and flagstone I want them to do. They provided pictures and references to other ones that attracted me into watching them in my dream home. "Alejandro does amazing work. He is always concerned about providing superior quality services and goes the extra mile. While painting a closet, he realized additional suppot was required when installing the closet rods. He cut out drywall, reinforced it with lumber and patched/painted. You cant even tell he did all that. I was very happy with his work but more importantly his work ethic. I have recommended him to friends who are also impressed with his work."

They were able to come out not too long after we first called, able to give an estimate and some drawings not long after they, able to start the work not long after we decided to pull the trigger, and able to wrap things up not long after they started. Everyone was responsive and professional. We were happy with the design, the effort, and quality of work. Of course the truest test will be how well the project holds up over the years, but so far, so good. It looks great, the price was reasonable, the team easy to work with."
