"I have been using the team at home breakthrough for years. At this point they fully remodeled my basement including adding a new bathroom/wet bar. As well as a huge overhaul of my main floor bath and laundry room. The quality of their work is outstanding. I also love their quote structure. They start with a labor number and give you an idea of what materials will cost but it’s essentially a chose your own adventure on how high end you want to go on features etc and they are very helpful to guide you on the way as well as have great experts to point you to on cabinets, fixtures, tile, countertops etc to help you achieve your vision. "While ABV was able to eventually repair my GE Profile counter depth refrigerator, it took a long time with a lot of trial and error, and was extremely expensive. It seems like the tech didn't know what he was doing, and diagnosed repairs that didn't need to be made. First, the tech diagnosed the problem as a bad control panel, which cost $2,400 to replace. That didn't fix the problem. Next, the tech guessed that the problem was the compressor control board and replaced that. To ABV's credit, they didn't charge me for the control board when that didn't turn out to be the problem. Finally, they decided that the compressor needed to be replaced, which cost $1800. That fixed the issue. Three simultaneous systems failures is highly improbable, and I strongly suspect that if the compressor had been replaced first, I would have avoided spending an additional $2400. I should have gone with GE's repair service first, but no availability for 2 weeks. ABV took 3.5 weeks to finally repair."
