"Our repair technician explained everything that was wrong with our AC. A fix was possible but would only be temporary. He recommended a new unit and quoted a price that was very reasonable. Because our old unit had R22 we needed to replace the condenser coils also. This requires a removal of the furnace 1st. The replacement of our 25 year old furnace seemed sensible. On removal they found that the old furnace became detached from the roof vent. It was venting carbon monoxide into our attic space. This installment could have saved our lives. . "9 hours- twice as long as expected. The old tank was impacted with over a foot of silt so they had to siphon the water out the top (not their fault). That alone put them behind by 2 hours. Then they had trouble getting the new up-to-code flu installed (their fault). But the team stuck with it and got everything in properly, instead of cutting corners or leaving it half-done and returning the next day."

"They did a whole house electrical inspection a couple of months ago, and they even changed out burned out light bulbs for me.  I give them a B on the price; they're a little high, but they do a good job.  I didn't even ask them; they just said have you got any extra bulbs, we will change them out for you. They weren't repairing anything, they were just inspecting to make sure my electrical system was working.  I've had an air conditioner, a heater, a whole house generator, and a whole house humidifier put in by them.  They do annual electric and plumbing inspections as well as heat and air inspections, they are always extremely nice and do a good job when they do an installation, and I appreciate the inspections that are free.  They did an inspection last winter on the heater, but no work actually.  When they installed the new heater, it's worked just fine.  They just inspect it on a yearly basis."
