"Our neighbor recommended us to Jelly’s Garage Doors. Matt came out to our residence and gave us a quote on a new garage door installation. He Was very prompt and courteous and gave great knowledge on exactly what we needed and wanted. Once our door arrived he and Abraham installed the door in an extremely efficient and timely manner. We receive many compliments on the door and the style it gives off as it is a unique black colored door. I would highly recommend them in any garage door installs or repairs."

"If you are considering a kitchen/bathroom remodel please read this review. Our kitchen renovation project was started on May 7th. We are now on the cusp of entering the 5th month for this project and our kitchen is still not completed. To make matters worse I haven’t seen ANYONE from Brookside for a MONTH! We had sent an email to the construction manager and never received a response. The sad thing is that this was an ongoing experience during our remodel. They would work for a couple of days and then I wouldn’t see nor hear from anyone for a week +. (This happened way more then we would have expected). The only way I got them to show up was to continually call. I would have to call repeatedly to get my microwave hooked up. I would have to repeat the process to make sure someone was going to hookup our stove, plumbing, etc. I’ve paid 60K so far and I had to be a pseudo project manager! I now have my existing hardware floor cracking because we have been waiting for Brookside to finish the floor with a transition piece. I still have live wires exposed and holes still left in the wall. FOUR months and I still do not have all of my appliances hooked up in my kitchen. Cabinets that came in damaged still have not been replaced. It pains me to write this review but I honestly don’t know what to do at this point. This project has totally been mismanaged and communication has been nonexistent! I will say that the workers who have performed the work have been good to work with. The cabinets that we ordered we are happy with and Classic Rock, who performed the fabrication for the granite did an AWESOME job! (We did not have a conventional layout). If Brookside would have completed this project in a reasonable time frame (I was originally told they would be finished around the 4th of July) then I would have had a much more positive experience."

"First off, I'd like to say that the technicians that came to my house seemed like very honest, well meaning workers. They worked hard, tolerated my endless questions/ideas, and seemed to want to do everything in their power to help me out. I have no issue with them, and would give each of them 5 stars. That being said, I was charged $1522 over 4 separate trips/repairs to be left with my furnace still not blowing hot air in the coldest 2 weeks of the last several years. Further, it was beginning to be suggested that if the issues persisted, we would just need to pay them another $6000 (NO DISCOUNT) for a new furnace. After the last repair/charge, the heat went out again within 20 minutes of them leaving, and I called back and was told someone would be out tomorrow at 2PM (presumably to tell me I needed to buy an new furnace from them...). Frustrated, I called Metro, and they had someone at my house by noon, and fixed the issue within half an hour for $300. I called South Hills Electric, and they refused to do literally anything to make it right. Again, I don't want to slander the good techs who worked on my furnace, but it's pretty hard to interpret that behavior as anything other than predatory. If I had charged someone $1522 to NOT fix their issue, I'd personally want to do something to make it right. Highly recommend Metro Heating and Cooling: [*** Link removed ***]"

FAQs for garage door installation and replacement projects in Washington, PA

Yes, you can replace just one panel if your door is sectional and the damaged panel is available. Most modern residential garage doors have four to six horizontal panels that can be individually replaced. However, finding an exact match becomes challenging for older doors or discontinued styles. For doors over 15 to 20 years old or with multiple damaged panels, a complete door replacement might be more practical and visually consistent.

Minor dents or cosmetic damage can often be repaired without replacing the entire panel, potentially saving you money. However, if the damage affects the door's operation, security, or structural integrity, replacement is often a better investment.

For extensive damage to multiple panels or older doors where matching is difficult, full door replacement might be more economical in the long run than multiple individual panel replacements.

Your garage door panel might be repairable if the damage is superficial and doesn't affect functionality. Small dents in aluminum panels, minor scratches, or cosmetic issues often don't require full replacement. However, replacement is often necessary if the panel is warped, has large holes, shows extensive rust, or affects how the door operates. A professional garage door technician can evaluate the damage and recommend whether repair or replacement offers the best value and durability.
