"On the same day that I entered the work request online, Rich reached out at the end of his work day to schedule the appointment. He would fit me in between other jobs to get an assessment, so the time would be either in the morning or the afternoon. He reached out about an hour before arrival and he and Vince showed up promptly. They spent a good bit of time trying to figure out what was wrong. They worked with the outlets, switches and breakers - all to no avail. It's an old house with several renovation projects that occurred. Rich explained that in these old houses, sometimes it can be nearly impossible to find the issue. He said there are two options - to come back and try to find the problem (no guarantee the problem could be found) or circumvent the issue and install a new outlet. I decided to go with the new outlet and scheduled time for the following day. Rich again reached out and scheduled a firm time and showed up promptly. He and Vince completed the job and I feel the charges were fair. He also pointed out that the main panel should probably be redone and explained why. I appreciated the feedback and his recommendations. I really appreciated that he tolerated my barking dogs and did not show any annoyance...Vince seemed to enjoy getting to know a few of them =) They were both professional and polite during the entire process."

"Deal was $349 for the install, but included a $49.99 cost called (TFSC)? Called and talked to Dan he is a very nice professional and was able to have this done the next day! Impressive, they did have someone in the area already working but still that's a first! Installer Jon was very good and professional and explained everything as he went and after completion (which only took about an hour or so). Only issue is the deal on Angies List says " Offer includes a limited $25,000 protected equipment warranty and a lifetime product replacement (parts) warranty". But not what the warranty they left says, its for $5,000 and only 10 years parts replacement. So I called Dan and explained and he said what the warranty that is on the sheet I was left is the one that is in effect, he wasn't sure why the one on Angies List says the $25,000 and Lifetime warranty on parts and was going to check on it. This may have made a difference in selecting the deal or not, knowing that up front."

"I was given a quote of $125.00 to replace 4 smoke alarms that  I supplied when I made the appointment.  After the smoke alarms were installed the price was $175.00.  The electrician said that I was paying for 2 electricians since he came with a partner.  I did not know that I needed to request one electrician only.  For this reason I would not use this company again because the price changed after the service was completed.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
