They went above and beyond by coordinating the installation of several appliances at one time even though the company we purchased from said we couldn't do that. Michelle, the office manager, was wonderfully helpful in the coordination of everything, and their installers, Oakly and Jordan, did an amazing job of installing all the appliances and took the time to explain the operation to us. "Wanted to use the Big Deal  to repair water damaged flooring and replace carpet and then pay whatever additional time was needed to get the job done. The estimate was for the insurance company. Lucky I got two estimates because House Doctors estimate was way too low. The insurance company eventually gave me twice as much for my carpet than House Doctor estimated. The owner's response time was not always what one would expect. When I questioned the estimate, the owner did state that they did not have much experience with carpets.  
I appreciated that owner did come out to the house and gave me a free estimate.

"A bedroom light-ceiling fan combination was shorting and wired differently than our other room fans.  Previous experiences with Cady Handyman made it an easy decision on whom to call for service.  I was able to a get a repair appointment-- at a time that works for someone with a day job-- within three days of calling.  Though the old amateur wiring job was a mess, Tom thought through the repair and had it done to expectations in reasonable time (including a trip to the hardware store for parts)."

"Sam came and looked at my house, took pictures and said he would provide me with a quote for painting the trim on my house. He called me back a week or two later to say that he thought painting would be too expensive & said that he would get me quote on wrapping the trim in aluminum. 

After a discussion with Sam, he has assured me that he did send the quote in a timely manner and I, for some reason, did not receive it.  I am impressed that he has taken so much time to discuss all of this with me.

While he did not do the work I needed done - he seems to be a good and honest businessman and seems to be truly concerned that I was not satisfied. I may or may not look to him again for work in the future- I would recommend him to others, because I believe that his company does good work and the bid, when I saw it, was respectable. I'm sure if Sam's company had performed the work it would have been impressive.

They showed up exactly on time.  They had a challenging task of replacing a faucet assembly that was rusted in place, with a faucet that I had purchased.  They were in an out in less than .5 hours.  They were extremely professional and considerate as I was working on the floor directly below them.  A piece that was installed cam loose a few days later, and they were there in a few hours to make sure it was repaired.  It has been three months and all is great.  It was a tough job - as they had to bust out the old faucet, but they stuck to their original Angie's List advertised price.

"One structure in the form of a arbor with a gate completed our fence.
     The other structure a small deck outside of the lower sliding glass doors, with a pergola added,
     gives a quiet shady respite to the yard.
      We also had Hal design and build a fountain feature added to the garden area itself.  Which gives a soft
      and flowing water sound near the small deck.
      The work overall is outstanding with a very finished look.  It was also accomplished as per estimate of
       time and cost.  They were very considerate to make the work space neat and clean each day at finish
       time.
     
       We would "highly" recommend these contractors to anyone wanting this type of excellent yard work done.
