"We are so happy we hired Alvin for our home remodel! We were very anxious going into it because we've never had remodeling work done before. Alvin, however, was trustworthy, kind, and communicative. He did a lot of the work himself, but he also brought in a team of specialists, including someone really skilled at tile work for our bathroom and fireplace tiles. He was patient with my questions and indecisiveness, particularly as it was hard for me to choose a countertop. He also double checked to make sure I liked how things were turning out before he finished each part of the remodel. We had the bathroom floors re-tiled, both bathroom vanity counters replaced, one bathroom's tub surround re-tiled, and exhaust fans installed in both bathrooms. In the kitchen he installed new countertops, new tiles for the backsplash, and a new range hood that he ducted to the outdoors. We also had new tiling installed on our fireplace. Finally, he redid our front deck, which was rotting and unsafe. We're very happy with all the work he did, and we would definitely hire him again! Perhaps most importantly, Alvin loves cats! He was careful not to let my indoor cats outside, and he took time to greet them each time he came to do work. My oldest cat loves him and runs over to welcome him as soon as he comes in the door."

"My experience with Joshua and Atlas Building and Remodeling LLC was above absolutely above and beyond excellent. Joshua was very quick to respond with a quote, the price was VERY reasonable, and work began within a few days. The quality of work, professionalism, communication, speed, and price couldn’t have been any better. My fence and gates look amazing, not to mention the cleanup was phenomenal! My yard is in the same exact condition it was prior to work beginning. This to me reiterates how much pride is taken in their work. "The drywall was fair, a lot of the electrical outlet where not cut out to fix the outlets themselves, so I had to buy over-sized face-plates in order to cover up the mistakes, the doors and trim for the most part came of pretty good, some of the painting on the doors needed to be redone, because the paint was sprayed on unevenly, the hanging of the doors and trim work was pretty good. the installation of the tub and shower, was not done very well, some of the lines did not match up, and the shower head kept dripping when toggling between the bathtub and the shower itself, and he did not come back to finish up the drywall around the bath and tub insert, or the baseboard trim work, which he said he would do. I really liked Ryan as a person, and I thought that he would be a man of his word, so I made the mistake of paying him in full for the unfinished work, because I thought that he could be trusted, to do what he said he would, however I had to find out the hard way, that this was not the case. after leaving him several text messages, asking him when he would be coming back to finish the work that had been paid for, I got no responses from him. so I have to hire someone else to finish up what I had already paid for. I really hate writing anything negative about anyone, because I know that this is their profession and livelihood, However I have to be honest, so that no one else would have to go through the same thing that I did."
