"Overall, we had a great experience and are very happy with our new deck. The quality of the work is excellent, and it was completed much faster than we expected. You can tell he takes pride in his craftsmanship, and the finished product turned out exactly how we had hoped. The only area that could have been better was communication during the project. There were times when we weren't sure what the next steps or timeline were, but it wasn't a major issue and the work continued to move along quickly. In the end, the quality and speed of the build outweighed that small drawback. If you're looking for someone who does quality work and gets the job done efficiently, we would definitely recommend him. We're very pleased with our deck and would hire him again."

I am a framing contractor with 6 years of experience. I've built houses, done remodeling, decks, bathrooms, interior finishes, etc. My specialty is framing and carpentry, but I will look at other projects as well. I'm passionate about my work and strive to be clean and efficient.

"Scheduling was easy and services were completed within a week of my initial contact. It can be difficult to find someone who is willing to do a small home repair job, so I'm thrilled to have a contact for future projects. Larry is very professional-- he's efficient, knowledgeable, no-nonsense, and friendly. What more could a person ask for? Don't hesitate to give him a call!

"Everything went smoothly. Pads came as promised and when I called during ordering process with a question, they were very helpful."

"We hired them to custom build a fence in our backyard, to match our neighbor's fence in design and style. When digging the post holes, they managed to break a piece of our house siding off. Furthermore, many post holes were dug on our neighbor's property (despite surveyor's stakes) and had to be removed and reinstalled. Things didn't get better as the project progressed. First, despite assuring us they would be able to match our neighbor's fence, the fence they built was a foot shorter and the custom design was very poorly executed. After negotiations, we ended up with a nice fence as long as you don't know it is supposed to match the neighbors. The office staff were always very pleasant and professional. They paid for and coordinated repairing our siding. Overall though, we would not use this company again.

"Difficult job - in hind-sight, both doors should have been replaced. Original bid was for replacement of one of the doors and repair of the other.  The repairman decided to attempt repair of both doors.

"This is the second job where we've hired Garden Structures and we could not be happier with the work Hal and crew did. The new fences are a simple design but perfectly attractive. Moreover, they are solidly built (that is a high priority for me).

As with our last experience, we found Hal's attention to detail is remarkable. And he is a real problem solver. He first worked to understand our goals and then worked with us to devise a solution. Now, with the structures in place, I feel a sense of relief in our yard. The other part of the job was creating an entry gate for the arbor he previously built. Again, he took our feedback and the result is a unique gate that is now the pleasing focal point of the structure.

In our experience, Hal is honest, fair and plain spoken. Exactly what one hopes for in a contractor. A real craftsman."

"Sam did an excellent job repairing our siding.  Since the manufacturer no longer manufactured the exact style, Sam suggested that he could take some existing pieces from the side of the house that had a lot shrub coverage for the repair and replace with a close match.  The replaced pieces are hardly noticeable and hidden by the shrubs.

His painter also did a great job.  Both gentlemen are friendly and easy to work which is a huge plus from my wife's perspective."

"Sears Home Improvement Products have washers and fittings to repair washing machines and such. The staff seem real knowledgeable and they were friendly with my son when my son was asking the sort of questions he asks everyone! The pricing is reasonable."

"Justin repaired a leak in my roof to get through the winter. I plan to have his team do a roof replacement in the early spring. I would definitely hire him again."
