The 1st job was a restoration of a 100 year old marble table which had a cracked top and was missing a corner of the base pedestal. He completely rebuilt and then polished the whole table on site. The next job involved releveling and regrouting a bluestone patio. The 3rd job was restoring soapstone countertops. David shows up on time, has a good eye for detail, cares about and is knowledgeable about his work, and is honest and respectful."

"We truly experienced an excellent wood floor refinishing job with Sheaves Flooring from start to finish. Jeff and his staff know their business. Jeff visited our home to explain how his services work and had a quote to us very quickly and very professionally. We decided to hire Sheaves flooring because of the dustless factor and because of the experence, knowlege and skills that were portrayed. We were not disappointed at all during the entire planning and the entire job. We were placed on the schedule, which was strictly adhered to so we were able to plan ahead efficiently. Anytime we had a question, a reply was immediate. The job started on time and by the end of the first day our old original 1960's wood floors were transformed from totally unappealling, worn in spots and ground in dirty (no matter the efforts to keep them clean) to a smooth beautiful wood...all completely dustless as promised. After the floors were sealed, 3 coats of finish applied and new molding installed by Sheaves, we definitely feel as if we have a new, very clean home. "My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally.  My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood.  We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.  <br /> After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough.  I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct.  Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked. <br /> After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order.  We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way.  She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order.  Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful.  After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down.  They did an excellent job and we really love our floor.  There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over. <br /> I highly recommend Brazilian Direct.  We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future. <br />"

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured.
