"Everything went well in the beginning. Great friendly service. I left a message in early spring that there was leaking again. No return phone call. Summer came and fall was approaching. I called 3-4 times and left messages. Finally 2 weeks later I received a phone call and an apology. I told the woman what was happening and she said she would charge me full price to come out and evaluate the problem. I was having my roof and gutters cleaned and they noticed that the cap was completely missing. I called the company and left another message that they are partly responsible and to call me back. "Decades ago, I bought a second-hand writing desk that had a water-damaged, solid-wood top. It had a couple of major splits and was cupped and discolored. It has some minor historical significance so I finally decided to get it repaired. Ed did a fantastic job--better than I had hoped. He was able to remove the splits and flatten the top while maintaining as much of the thickness of the top as possible. He masterfully refinished the top to match the color of the rest of the desk and gave it a wood-floor finish for durability. I got several bids on this project and Ed's was actually the lowest, so I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended."
