"What an excellent experience! I called Sissi Basement Waterproofing to come out to look at the terribly leaking basement of our recently purchased, more than 100 years old house. Lewis and his team came out that very same day. They walked around in the backyard looking at the gutters, the downspouts, the patio… Then they found why the water went into the basement and made a plan about how to redirect the water flow and waterproof the basement. Next day they provided us with an estimate. There was never any attempt to cause concern or up-sell throughout the whole project. They provided alternatives along with the pluses and minuses of each. They were great to work with. They came on time every day and stayed on budget with the estimate. They were true craftsmen taking pride in their work !! Lewis Team was a real problem solver. There were a lot of challenges to remodel an old basement like ours. They came up with many stable solutions to meet our needs for storage and children’s activity space. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

"They only charge a flat rate for any basic service so if the AC goes out i call them and they charge a flat rate to service it. If it has to be replaced they pay up to a certain amount and if it goes over i pay a prorated fee."
