"Tim is the kind of contractor you hope to get when cold-calling for a job. We hired Triton to replaced our whole roof,. In the process, Tim's crews found and fixed a stubborn water leak that was tormenting us. First off, Tim and his guys are experts. They are fast, efficient, respectful and clean up well. On top of that, Tim supplies a patient, personal touch that is much appreciated. Especially if you are not familiar yourself with whatever the work involves. He is always accessible for questions or concerns -- before, during AND after a job. I can't stress enough how important that is. He says he wants you to be completely satisfied with his team's work, and he backs that up. We have an 80-year-old, two-story brick house in South St. Louis. We had a stubborn water stain on a downstairs, interior wall. The problem persisted for months, despite the opinions -- and work -- of multiple different tradesmen. Most had done previous -- unrelated -- jobs for us. But this leakage problem persisted. Finally, in need of a new roof, we hired Triton. Before a relative had recommended Tim, we had another roofer replace the original decades-old flashing. We had no history with the first roofer., who was by far the low bidder. But we figured this roofer had addressed the problem. So when the leak persisted, we turned to other craftsmen for possible solutions. We tried tuck pointing, enlarged gutters and fresh interior painting. Nothing worked. Then we hired Triton to replace the whole roof., which involved removing the "new" flashing. Tim's crew quickly found that the original leak was in fact around the chimney -- and that the other roofer's "repairs" to the flashing actually made the leak worse. Tim patiently explained this in detail and documented it with photos. Nearly 18 months later, our interior wall remains bone-dry, thanks to Tim and his crews. What a relief! Along with my own experience, I know that Tim did a great job on an in-law's roof -- that's where I heard about Triton. I'm happy to return the favor and recommend Tim whole-heartedly. In fact, when a female neighbor had an interior water leak like mine,, she hired him at my suggestion. She told me the other day that Triton had fixed her problem as well -- though I'll let her supply her own recommendation! In our case, Triton was not the cheapest option. But I found the hard way that cheaper is not always better. To me, it was worth paying more for expertise, quality materials -- and peace of mind."

"After researching many brands of shingles and numerous roofing contractors, we reached out to a few for bids on our roofing job. In our estimation, Coldstream Exteriors and our Project Manager, Brian McDonough, were far and away the most professional and informative of the four contractors that we considered. Brian took his time to explain our options, discuss the pros and cons of two featured shingle brands, and recommended a solution to my concern of inadequate intake ventilation in our attic with a hip roof with no soffit. Nobody else suggested that we consider edge vents to bring in more fresh air at the lower edge of the roof. I had a lot of questions about the materials, the venting and warranties and Brian responded to my numerous emails promptly. The installation crew arrived early in the morning and went to work right away. Brian was on site a number of times during the day to make sure that everything was proceeding well and was meeting my expectations. The crew worked efficiently and the entire roof, along with a very thorough clean-up, was completed by mid-afternoon. Although the bid from Coldstream Exteriors was not the least expensive that we received, it was very reasonable and we are quite pleased with the finished product. Our new shingles look great and we expect them to last for at least 30 years, which is longer than we expect to be in our home. We will likely be doing more exterior improvements next year and will certainly be looking to Coldstream Exteriors to replace our facia, siding and gutters. "Just wanted to post about my experience with H and F Exteriors. I was referred this company when the Midwest March hailstorm impacted so many people. Jill, the Project Manager, reached out to me to get me scheduled in a timely manner during the busiest time. She made it happen! She reviewed the exterior of the house and got up on the roof and inspecting and documenting everything. She even pointed out some things just for the general health of my gutters and foundation. On our next meeting we reviewed the options for the roof, upgraded fascia, and damaged gutters. I went with black shingles, new black fascia, gutters, and guards to minimize gutter cleaning and maintenance. The company provided a group message with Jill and others to keep me up to date on all the behind the scenes. This involved (insurance, materials, and production teams) who were in constant communication. We picked a date for the new roof and shortly after gutter replacement. The crews of H and F are extremely hard working and finished my roof in a day ..day and a half tops. The gutter job was booked shortly after and completed in half a day if even. I couldnâ t believe it as this season is extremely hot as well. The team ensured any construction debris and nails were cleaned up and removed running magnets up to 3x throughout the process.
