Jeremy and his crew provided many helpful details about the project from start to finish and was quick to let us know if any issues arose. "Since parts of the house are over 100 years old, I knew that I would need a lot of new decking under the roof. I also needed drip edge material installed to prevent ice dam problems that I had been experiencing. I also needed trim repair and gutters. Everything turned out great. The timing was great as well. that got it done in 3 days working dawn to dusk just before the cold weather set in. The acid test was the one stretch in January where we got at least 18 inches of snow without a thaw. I had the ice dams as usual but no leaks this time. This outfit is very professional and is a real bargain if your looking for top quality workmanship. I would not hesitate to use them again for any type of general contracting work that you might need. I found out about Above and Beyond with my own 2 eyes. I was really impressed with some projects he was doing for my neighbor. I found out that my neighbor had been using them for years on a variety of projects. "Angelo Pecoraro, the owner of A.P. Builder, was a pleasure to work with from start to finish on our major remodeling project of adding a sunroom to our home. Out of many contractors I called to get an estimate, he was the only one willing to provide options to have the project fit our budget. Once we agreed to move forward, he worked diligently with the architect and village to get the permits finalized (which is a difficult task in my town). Once the work started, he provided almost daily updates of the work that will be completed and any anticipated inspections (which we passed easily). He also reached out himself to finalize details from big items like windows to small ones like the molding. The result was a beautiful sunroom and deck which I receive compliments on regularly. "I had used Old World Carpentry in the past for a major repair/painting job on the outside trim of our house. Therefore I knew James was the right choice to remove/reinstall an outside railing on our roof. James arrived promptly on short notice to remove the railing. After roofing and stucco repairs were made he again returned to fabricate and reinstall the railing which now looks as good as new. James also fabricated a kickplate for our new trash compactor which matches the existing woodwork in our kitchen. I would definitely use James again for any carpentry job.

"I’ve always wanted a second bathroom. I contacted JK Complete R&C. Jack came to my home and assessed the would be project. Jack gave me a reasonable price, start and proposed finish date. Then I met the crew John, Mike and Ziggy. We had a great relationship. Everything that was to be accomplished was explained to me on a daily bases. By the end of the project we had a bond and it felt like family. I also learned quite a bit in the process. I am total fascinated with my new bathroom. I have already recommended JK Complete to family members."

"We've needed a major staircase upgrade for years and got Caesar and his crew to do it. As we decided on this we mentioned our half bathroom on the main level. He gave us a very fair price on the labor for that, and in fact was able to get us a beautiful and custom made vanity and top. The workmanship is top notch and all the men in the crew are very personable. Caesar not only listens, but he readily ask you questions as to your input on how things be done to your liking. "Simply put, you will NOT find a better, more honest, more helpful, more easy-to-work-with, reasonably priced contractor than John Lee and his crew at J & K Home Improvement & Restoration! We had a "complicated" set of circumstances when our home was damaged by a storm, last winter. The insurance company sent out an estimator to assess the damage and, after the company recommended J & K Home Improvement & Restoration, I was introduced to John Lee. I eventually learned that John also does estimates for a variety of insurance companies (because his company is so well regarded), and he patiently listened as I described the nuances associated with our house. During our initial consultation, he was able to clearly describe all of the steps that would be necessary and answer all of our questions. Long story short, not only was John able to address EVERY single concern and request that we had regarding the eventual repairs to the house (including roof, siding, and a window upgrade that would have cost much more if we had done it at a later time), but he spent plenty of extra time making sure that everything we had talked about was addressed to our 100% satisfaction! He was also able to persuade the insurance company to cover more complete repairs than was originally specified by the first adjuster! In addition, when we had an electrical "hiccup" associated with all the pounding on the walls, John quickly sent an expert electrician to locate and correct the problem. He absolutely could have passed those charges on to us because the failure wasn't due to any mistake on the part of his crew but, instead, he picked up the unanticipated expense himself. It was truly a pleasure to work with John! He made a difficult situation as easy to manage as possible, and we would strongly recommend J & K Home Improvement & Restoration to anyone who wants to hire a quality contractor that stands behind their work and well-earned reputation!"
