"We were very pleased with the staircase and railing construction completed by MGM Carpentry and highly recommend them for Carpentry and construction work. Mike worked efficiently completing the demolition of the previous stairs and railing in one day. He identified and corrected structural deficiencies from the previous construction and completed the remodel and finish work within the time he originally stated it would take to complete the job. He was even able to stay on-budget with the exception of the additional repairs identified during demolition. Even then, he discussed any changes early and found effective solutions that didn’t significantly increase the cost of completing the work. We are absolutely delighted with the quality and appearance of the finished staircase. He kept a tidy workspace and cleaned everything up very neatly once the job was completed. "We contracted with JAM Home Services (Jeff) to repair and paint walls, ceilings and closets in the living/dining room and 3 bedrooms of our house. We also asked about installing base board where missing/damaged and also installing shoe molding in all rooms (we had just had carpeting removed and hardwood floors refinished), While his was not lowest estimate for the project, we were impressed with his knowledge, suggestions for successful completion and his professionalism. At our request, he suggested several colors that would work with the hardwood floors. We agreed on a start date, which had to be firm, to meet a specific timeline to place our house on the market. A week before start date, he checked in with us to be sure we still on schedule. As it happened, other projects were already completed, so he started a week earlier than planned and completed the project withing the 4 days he had originally estimated. We could not have been more pleased with the result! Each day, the work space was cleared and cleaned, except for drop cloths left to protect floors. He repaired a baseball-sized hole in the wall in one bedroom, repaired a crack in the plaster above a door in the living room, filled all nail holes. The paint on all ceilings, wall and closets was smooth and even - no messy corners or bleeding edges. The new base boards and and shoe molding were such great enhancements to the rooms.
