"Jerome and his team were amazing and got our job done in the time estimated. They had to repair a concrete floor in a difficult location that required removing the broken concrete (reinforced with brick!) by hand and up a steep flight of stairs. They also had to repair a brick staircase and hand-ground out each mortar joint. Their work was thoughtfully done and impeccable. I canâ t recommend them highly enough."

"I hired this company based on reviews from Angie's list.  My experience was a bit different than the A + rating they had.  The answered my call for a quote and arrived on time.  The communicated in Spanish about everything.  We all walked the house together and I pointed out everything that needed painting.  We had a discussion about the master bath, the last words I heard George senior tell me was "we can fix this".  They quoted me a price of $3400.00 and said if I got everything done at once, he would take $200.00 off.  I didn't get other quotes because I just moved in and time was a factor, so I can't really comment on price.  During the week, they dropped of a large paint sample thing to make may choices from.  They arrived early to start the two-day job, a Friday and a Saturday.  They finished the job on Saturday, as promised.  My master bath was not painted, the wood on the steps was not painted, they removed all the drapery hardware and it was tossed out apparently, they took a blind down in the master bedroom and I had to remind many times for them to fix it, they did with crazy glue.  The walls and ceiling are beautiful but the trim is horrible.  I am still painting over spots that were missed or the paint was wiped off when they cleaned the floors.  There was a quarter sized drop of paint on my maple dining room table.  There was a large spot of white trim paint on the colored wall in the hall, but worst of all I continue to clean small spots and areas where there is white paint on the oak floors. They did do me one favor and lift a TV back up above the fireplace that had been taken down for painting. They did leave all the extra paint in the basement, one bucket not closed and has a paint roller floating in it.  The worst thing was them teasing my dogs and getting them agitated and pushing each other towards them and laughing.  Overall, I don't think I had an "A" experience.  Unfortunately I would not recommend them or use them again.

"Mr. DiFatta was most professional in the initial consultation and estimate process. He was very thorough as we did the walk through. The masons did a fantastic job repairing and matching the mortar color for a 52 year old house. Where bricks needed replacing, they acquired  ones that were the closest to perfect that one could get. The steps to our front porch were in a poor state and the crew was able to repoint them with new matching mortar and they looked so new. The craftmanship is excellent. The hallmark of an excellent job is that you look at the house and the mortar is perfect, there are no more missing sections or cracks. If you have a brick or stone home and you need to repair or maintain, using S DiFatta and Sons, will add years and value.

"I want to start off stating that I knew this was a complicated job due to the multiple locations needing to be addressed in different manners. Anthony was very accommodating, professional, and responsible. Even when Anthony had a medical reason to not be involved in managing, he was. The overall grade, however, would be a B-. I would still use them again and recommend their use.
At first, I thought I found our handymen for the rest of our projects. I told Anthony the issues in COMPLETENESS OF WORK with other contractors, and was assured there is no problem here.
My wife and I were told that the entire job would be completed in 3 days. I expected a week, but it ended up being 2 weeks and a day.  Communication was a challenge on both my end and theirs. There were times when I talked to Anthony about specifics and details that we had agreed on, but when the working crew came, there was a misunderstanding. For example, I wanted all doors to be painted semi-gloss white. When the job was done, I noticed the doors were only painted on the front (facing the hall). I was told that is what they usually do when painting doors, but I thought it was understood that painting the door is the entire door. A misunderstanding that was solved once it was brought up. We also had some issues in cabinet painting as the doors were closed before fully drying. When opened, paint was removed. This was brought up and was grossly resolved.
Here is a summary of the work:
Hardwood flooring-Looks great but had issues with the staining of the stair nose. This was corrected. They had to do a lot of work securing the sub-floor, which I thought meant silencing creaks. One creak was fixed and the other is right at the base of my stairwell. I was told this is due to the beams in my home, but they would check. I asked later about it as I still heard the noise and didn't notice anything to suggest the wood was taken up for the problem to be checked, but was told it was inspected and is the beam...
Painting in home-Walls and ceiling are great but doors and molding look like spots were missed.
Staining/painting of banisters-We have dark on top and bottom with white spindles. We had an issue with drying time and drip spots but was ultimately resolved. Looks great. Stains from banisters were noticed elsewhere in the house like on doors.
Kitchen cabinet-there was some back and forth with this because of the peeling of paint. Even when pointed out, not all was resolved. We also agreed to the painting and install of about 2 ft of crown molding on the top of a cabinet where it was missing, but this was not done.
The quality of work was ok, as I had to point out issues that needed to be resolved, and some were not. It got to the point where my wife and I were just ready to be finished with the entire process. Overall, the grade is a B- because of this and because the work was not as thorough as I had expected. Today I even went over some things that weren't fully completed and cleaning carpet from shoe stains.
 I reached out to Anthony for another job involving the installation of a pedestal sink, and painting plus installing shoe molding and 1/2 rounds. This is the powder room I had hardwood installed also, but when the sink/vanity was removed, some of the molding and rounds were not painted or installed on the sides after being told we were acquiring a pedestal sink for the room. I wanted to use Tony Touch again because I believe they have a great rep and maybe the communication was the predominant issue with my job. And he does work with you.
I just suggest being very detailed and descriptive when getting a quote for a job, ask questions, and inspect the work.

"I have been using these guys for years. They have redesigned and remodeled my kitchen and other projects throughout my home. Their ideas for my home are always very creative and work well. They most recently redesigned and remodeled my bathroom and it turned out amazing. As always the project went smoothly from the start. I met with them at my home and they took measurements and we discussed ideas. I then went to their showroom to review the designs, yes designs they gave me more than one option. This was very helpful as it's hard for me to envision things on my own. I decided to go with the second option which involved removing a wall and expanding the bathroom. I worked with them to pick out my tile, cabinets and granite right there after seeing the designs. It was very convenient. "Giving a farmhouse estate circa 1842 a fresh renovation and quality paint job required a combination of old school workmanship and current technology. The family owned and operated two generation crew of Pintail Painting was the absolute best choice possible for this project. The main farmhouse required tender loving care as 160 years of multiple paint layers were skillfully and gradually taken down to the original siding. Necessary woodworking repairs were completed by the Village Carpenter and the patching and painting were artfully completed by Pintail Painting. The end product was nothing shy of magnificent. Their strong work ethic and expertise, combined with many years of masterful painting experience made this project a huge success. This project had been postponed year after year to properly budget and select the right crew to complete this project. The working cooperation of a Master Carpenter from the Village Carpenter and outstanding painters from Pintail Painting completed this project through every square-foot of the estate. The pictures do not do justice to the quality workmanship that went into this project. Not only is Pintail Painting highly recommended, they are a versatile Contractor to handle exterior, interior, covered areas, and any other project worthy of taking fresh paint too. Although this project represented every extreme, the professionals at Pintail Painting stuck to their estimate, stayed on budget, and consistently maintained a level of communication worthy of their reputation. Of great concern for this project was the EPA certification and job site safety standards maintained for all of the lead based restoration. Working areas were draped, tarped, and vacuumed clean daily even on the roof surfaces, gutters, ground surface, and all of the leaded debris was accounted for and properly hauled away in compliance with the EPA guidelines and restrictions. We could not of hope for a more professional, cost-efficient, and more personable company for all of our painting projects. They completed the extreme gable and rooftop painting, all sides to the farmhouse on the estate, porch columns and railings, covered porch surfaces, deck work, shutters, 160-year-old woodworking was handled with extreme care and masterful preservation by the Village Carpenter. On a side note, windows were replaced, interior painting was completed, and at the end of every day, the job site was clean and prepared for the next day of the project. There simply is no other choice for a consumer wanting a quality, old-school strong work ethic and masterful skill level painting job completed per your request, at your direction, and at a cost qualifying every dollar spent. We will undoubtedly be using this fine company again and again and cannot offer any higher recommendation for their services. Interestingly enough, they shared that they will consider any size project. They will do small projects, or even tackle the exterior and interior of a 6000 ft.² farmhouse estate like this 1842 landmark. You'll find no better.
