"I love it! Framing and hanging sliding doors that separated kitchen from living room. This is a project that I have wanted to do for a long time and finally got it completed. I own a manufactured home (or as it is called now a mobile home). These homes usually have unique openings and require customized or special orders. John was extremely helpful and brought my vision of what I wanted into reality. He also provided some suggestions which proved to be extremely beneficial. He was quick and efficient with his work. John framed the space from floor to ceiling. John did framing, molding and trim, dry wall (in the space above the doors on both sides), sanded and painted. "While the process of quoting and communicating about the job was prompt and efficient and the work itself completely satisfactory, some of the side effects of the job were less than ideal.  We requested that our old phone line be cut from the house (unused) and it was meant to be coiled up and placed on the telephone pole.  This did happen but only after our cable was accidentally cut first being mistaken for the phone line.  Thankfully the cable company was out the next day to repair this.  The other point that will probably lead to us not reusing the company was that we returned home to find all of the dusk, debris, splintered wood and old ceiling tiles strew all over the floor where they had fallen in our basement.  This meant a 45 minute clean-up project for us (including cleaning debris out of our new washing machine).  Outside, chunks of cut-away shingles and pieces of cable/wire were left in the yard where we discovered them upon mowing the lawn (thankfully they were spotted before they hurt the mower or someone). 
There were good points and there were rough points.  At the end of the day, all the responsiveness and friendly service does not win out over the job being left unfinished.

"I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"
