"Basement project: We met with Eric and he was our point person for the whole project. He and his team couldn't have been better. We were ripped off by another contractor a few years prior to this so to say we were gun shy was an understatement. Eric definitely made us feel comfortable with the whole process. The 2 guys who came in to do the carpentry did an excellent job, always included us on decisions, cleaned up after themselves, and were very personable. The quality of work was better than we could have ever imagined and the space looks awesome. They had to do some demo and redid a wall, added shelves and laid a floor. They stayed on track and on schedule and we felt the price quoted was fair and worth every penny.

The second project was exterior about a year later. We needed so panels replaced and repainted. Once again, on time and cleaned up after themselves.

Its hard to find a contractor to begin with and one that is honest and takes pride and cares about their work is a gem. We'll definitely use them again.

"For our home addition/renovation we are very grateful to have found Richard Connolly and his site iCornerstone. Our vision was a Two-story + basement + livable attic space home addition which would provide significant practical square footage to our existing house and integrate seamlessly with it. We interviewed a number of general contractors but we were overall a bit uncomfortable after the interviews due to gaps in transparency regarding how costs were calculated and how timelines were established, resulting in some lack of confidence. We happened upon Richard’s iCornerstone site via Angies. Richard provided an extremely transparent and detailed description of his unique and practical process, which delivered a set of superb designs along with a truly logical, transparent, and honest listing of costs, both materials and labor, at all stages, and how those costs were derived. Richard also delivered transparency on timelines, and he provided recommendations for all the needed tradespeople that he had historically a close working relationship with; alternatively we could have selected tradespeople of our own choosing. Richard and his process gave us the utmost confidence for proceeding. We proceeded with our renovation under Richard’s guidance and his own crew and the entire process went according to plan with excellent communication, rapport, and confidence at all stages from excavation to final finish work. Transparency, confidence-building, dependability, highly knowledgeable, customer-friendly, and results-oriented are all terms we would use to describe Richard and the iCornerstone process. The moment I met Derrick I knew he had knowledge of what needed to be done and the character and integrity to make it happen. He asked the right questions and made suggestions which helped a lot. James coordinated all the activity kept on schedule despite some unforeseen set backs and was able to get subs in when needed. This all happened in the height of covid where supplies were delayed but they were able to stay ahead and account for lead times. "Any construction can be stressful, but with Liam and his team I was in good hands. I had some upgrades to one bathroom and a tub to shower conversion in the master bathroom. Liam was clearly very knowledgeable, and his workmanship in both bathrooms was impeccable. He answered all my questions, had great suggestions and was very responsive whenever I needed to contact him. The demo in the master was completed in a day, and the guys cleared everything after they finished. The tile work was meticulous and just beautiful. I highly recommend Liam Neary Construction."

We have heard that permitting in our town of Westwood can be a challenge, but the process went well for us.
