"The consultation was very informative and my budget was kept in mind when deciding on a plan. All the work was well done and as discussed. Both the landscaper and the workers were obviously interested in giving me the look I wanted for that location. I am very pleased with the results and would certainly consider them for any future projects."

"I called shortly after then and spoke with Priscilla, who was also very pleasant. Unfortunately my request to contact my home warranty company with the diagnosis fell through the cracks and was not followed up on. I have heard from speaking with other vendors that my home warranty company operates a little differently than others in that they don't contract with vendors individually, but they "approve" a service and then reimburse the customer after they have paid the vendor directly. So essentially, I am paying the vendor and then have to deal with getting reimbursed. The only caveat is that I need a per-approval of work to get reimbursed. This is when things went wrong. On August 24th I called and spoke with Jamie and she was short and to the point. Not rude, but not especially helpful. She told me that my home warranty didn't cover most of the services I had listed. I replied that it was fine and I was happy to pay in cash for what was not covered, but I would like to have the warranty company pay for what they do cover. She said wouldn't sent someone out until I had a claim re-opened. Fine. I called and opened a claim this morning. I then called Jamie again and informed her that the home warranty company just needed to get their diagnosis from the quote to pre-approved. Someone had to call them and give them the info, or fax in their report.
Here is where things went wrong. Jamie told me that she didn't see a quote come through in her system and I needed a claim number. I know that my warranty company does not work like this and asked her who she had listed. It was a company that I had never heard of, let alone ever said held my warranty. I told her I could give her the numbers for my company to get it straightened out. I was very clear that I would be paying them directly and then deal with the reimbursement myself. The company just needs the diagnosis. Jamie then informed me that they don't work with my company and so they wouldn't do the job. I explained again that they just needed a copy of the diagnosis they had already done, and I would be paying them and responsible for the entire amount myself. They don't have to deal with them besides getting them the initial information. She then said if she wanted me to call them it would be $85 an hour. Huh? I'm giving you a $600+ job that is paid for by me with no hassle from a home warranty company except the initial documentation and you tell me you won't help? Not a phone call or a fax? The conversation ended with her huffing at me and then hanging up.
I'm sure Jamie is the one reading this review, so to you I say you have great people that work for you and your techs are nice, but please do not talk down to your customers. A little bit of professionalism goes a long way, and you did not display that today. You were borderline hostile and did not want to listen. I have already called for another quote and will be taking my business elsewhere. It's a shame because previous interactions I have had with this company had been good.

"Optimist Technician, Jerome McCarter, came out diagnosed the problem and corrected it. He was punctual, professional, thorough and respectful. He also gave me tips on maintenance of the system. I was delighted that he got the system up and running as it was extremely hot in the house. He did a great job."
