Carlos knows his stuff, has deep knowledge of all the various types of equipment available and has very competitive pricing. I never felt he was trying to over sell me. Instead, he took the time to understand what my needs and wants were and shared with me all my available options. He was very thorough providing pricing and gave me a very detailed quote (there were no surprise fees or hidden charges). Once I made my decision to move forward, their installation process went so smoothly and was right on schedule. I should note that I had turned to Audio -Video Alternative after having a bad experience at a big box store. My only regret was not going to Audio-Video first. If you’re considering installing a stereo & home theater system, call Audio-Video Alternatives and don’t do what I did waste your time talking to someone else. He came by for a quick evaluation and scoping of the project, and even in that first meeting provided a lot of advice and information for our project of mounting TV and speakers on a wall in a room without a current cable connection. "This company made everything easy and the result was perfect!! I needed a large 82” tv hung in my living room and also an electronic fireplace mounted under it. In addition I wanted the wires hidden which was done to perfection. I also in my hallway had a huge decorative picture with a frame and it was extremely heavy and they mounted it perfectly. Also I had a floating cabinet in my man cave to store my PS5 gaming system and they installed that as well. The company appeared to pay attention to detail constantly measuring and using a level to be sure the outcome was right. "The computer technician, Tammy, was excellent.  He arrived on time and was very personable.  Our computer is several years old and has been running slow, so he cleaned it up for us.  He tried to show us how to perform some maintenance tasks on our own.  
After he was finished, he had to call in to the main Geek Choice number to settle the bill.  When I spoke with the person on the phone from Geek Choice, I was astonished when they told me the bill was for $300, which included 2.5 hours service at $100 per hour and a $50 fee for home visit.  I informed her that I had ordered the first hour through Angie's List for $75 and that the home visit fee was waived.  She retrieved my information and charged me a balance of $135, to include the reduced hourly fee of $90 per hour.  So Angie's List saved me almost $100, which I totally appreciate.  
I give the technician high marks but the company, Geek Choice, seems like just another corporation trying to make more money off the consumer than they should.  I'm glad I went through Angie's List.

"This was an Angie's List deal for $99 for 2 hours of work.  New England Home Theater did an excellent job mounting my tv for me.  I had the tv and the mount already, I just needed someone with the proper tools and experience.  They were very responsive; setting up and confirming my appointment was a breeze.  The installer showed up exactly on time, and was able to get the work done with an unfamiliar mount in no time.  Would definitely work with these guys again.
