The job entailed repairing the crown, repointing the entire chimney, repairing the stucco, and installing a liner in one of the flues. Oscar and his team were a pleasure to work with! "We were hesitant to go with Chimney Savers mainly because of the price - it was thousands more than the nearest competitive bid.  However, in retrospect, we made the right call.
We have a chimney with two fireplaces, one on each floor. The flues were in bad shape when we moved in, which we knew from the home inspection, but we didn't know how bad. 2 of the contractors that we had come in admitted that they couldn't even do the job.  Another could do it, but it would involve removing large sections of the existing chimney, indoors, and replacing with new bricks - we didn't feel like we wanted to go that route.
Mark came in and explained how he would get the job done without destroying existing bricks. It was obvious from the start that he knew what he was doing, and the only hang-up I had was the price. When I finally decided to go with Chimney Savers, it was after saving the money for months to be able to pay him.
It was the right decision. Mark and his guys were extremely professional, they didn't make or leave a mess in the house, and I now have two working fireplaces.  I would be kicking myself if I had gone with a lower bid - Chimney Savers did the job right, and in the end, you get what you pay for.

"Chose them as the lowest cost of 3 bids for the job.  They showed up on time, completed the job quickly and without issue.  Quality appears good but I admit I know nothing about chimneys.  Was impressed that they went out of their way to find a brickyard with a close match to my existing chimney.

"I had emailed them for an estimate.  It was a week or so before I got the return call which was not an issue for me as I was not in a rush.   I hired them for an oil flue cleaning.  They were efficient and clean.  Chimney caps were suggested to keep out debris.  Caps were something I had considered but procrastinated getting.  I had the 2 chimney caps installed during the appointment.  I would use them again for future cleanings.

"I highly recommend “Lecla Home Improvements”. Luis and his men came recommended from someone who’s had a couple of roofs replaced by Luis. He was pleasant to work with when bidding on the roof replacement and skylights (5) removal. His crew of 5 were able to strip approx. 24 squares of roofing shingles as well as removing all 5 skylights which also entailed replacing 11 sheets of plywood. They also had the roof replaced by the end of the day. The crew (some of which have worked for more than 13 years with Luis) were so well organized with each man knowing what needed to be done and what roll they played in getting it done. They had 2 men that stayed on the ground cleaning up all the old debris as it came off the roof and throwing it into the dumpster (all tarps were in place to protect our vinyl siding) as well as sweeping the lawn constantly with a large manganic roller. At the end of the job there wasn’t a nail to be found. I’m sure my yard around the house was cleaner then when they started. The next day all the seamless gutters were installed as well as the downspouts. Again everything was done as promised. We’ve received many complements on how our roof/gutters look. All the promises of materials (GAF, shingles, ice & melt, ridge vent, warranty) to be used and how they were going to be installed when bidding the job were done exactly as promised to me.
