"The first time I used Rock Creek Roofing and Construction was for the electric line install from my house to the new shop I had built. They did a great job and I haven’t had a bit of trouble. They also tore out and installed carpet for my whole house. They were quick and clean taking all the old carpet and cleaning up scraps. The job was complete in just a day and a half. The biggest job Rock Creek Roofing and Construction has done for me is replacing my roof and siding on my new shop. The crew came in and took the old shingles off and started replacing them on the first day. They were able to finish putting the new shingles on and cleaning up the next morning. Most of which was cleaning up and making sure there were no nails or shingles on the ground. The gutters and siding on my new shop had hail damage and had to be replaced. "My wife and I are very pleased with our whole-house installation of Marvin Infinity windows. We selected Marvin on the basis of reputation and our confidence in Bordner following replacement of our roof several years ago. The installation was first rate, and weâ d like to give a special shout-out to Brian and Henry. They are skilled craftsmen and were responsive to our questions and the occasional special request. He did a good job. The only thing I did not like about it was that he did not pick up very well after I got done. They left too many nails in my driveway. I had three other people give me a bid and his prices were pretty close to everybody else. He had something that nobody else was offering so that made it easy to pick him. He was very busy so it took about six weeks or two months to get to my house. He had about four other jobs and I guess I did not print out the contract like I was supposed and send it back to him. That was my mistake. Their punctuality was good. They were always there the first thing in the morning. The sun would be coming up and they would stay late. Their professionalism was good. I would recommend them.

tProject was bid last Fall and delayed at our request until Spring. The original bid was probably underpriced due to a miscalculation on their part but they stood by their bid. We discussed using pre-colored Hardyboard but Brian convinced us that a better result would be obtained by using the non-colored siding and then painting. We worked pros and cons to wrapping eves as opposed to using Hardy products. When the weather finally cooperated, the crews started arriving. They took pictures of the house before starting, so they would remember how everything went back. The crews they use for siding installation, painting, and gutters were all sutcontractors but top notch. Brian was the company project manager and he kept me informed of plans and suggested changes. The gutters were originally bid for 5 inch gutters but after re-evaluating our roof runoff, they upgraded to 6 inch w/o additional charge The siding crew were just amazing. Arriving early morning and working non stop until there was no more light. They were exact in their measurements and always in good spirits and very respectful of our personal space. They were not used to working on a rolled steel roof so their ladders scraped some of the finish off but quickly repaired it after I pointed it out  They cleaned  the site up completely at the end of each day...and believe me their is lots of trash in a project like this.  They could not figure our how to get my nightscape lighting back on correctly, so they paid for the original company to come out and re-install it. The painters were another crew that did great prep work and worked well with the siding crew. The gutter crew were done in a day.

Anthony came to my house on a Monday to determine if I needed to replace my sump pump (I had seen slight amount of water following a huge storm) and possibly install a back-up battery unit. He recommended a new sump pump to replace my old system (original to the house), but advised me NOT to spend the extra money on a back-up battery unit. He could have easily have told me to spend that additional cash on a back-up, but instead won a customer for life with his honesty and integrity. My new sump pump was scheduled for install just two days after Anthony visited. It took him less than 10 minutes to complete the job, and I was immediately on my way back to work. I took advantage of the $395 special deal, and the unit has worked perfectly (and is so quiet I can barely hear it). Thank you, Anthony, for a superb job!"
