"[*** Link removed ***] Steve Durning's timing couldn't be better. He came on December 31 to fix my hallway light switch just before I prepared for a medical procedure. Steve reconnected a wire for a 3-way switch controlling the fixture. He also installed an exterior floodlight motion sensor and 2 new flood lamp holders in the rear of the house. "This company was on time and worked very efficiently. Our project was a bit of a repair and was tricky on an old home but they completed the work with ease and professionalism. After the work was complete, our home was left in the same way when they arrived. They moved the furniture to access the project areas and then placed it back where it belonged without damage. "I rarely / never take the time to write reviews, but I consider it an honor in this case. Malvern did some electrical work at my house that ended up being not much in the way of "work" at all. In fact, he talked me OUT of having any actual work done by showing me simple fixes to problems that have been plaguing me for quite some time. Frequent trips on dining room circuit were due to too many incandescent bulbs. Flickering lights in another chandelier were due to a loose connection. A "rewiring" problem was fixed by simply plugging something into a different (less vulnerable/loaded) outlet. There were some other things he showed me as well, but the approach was the same: incredible troubleshooting to find the lowest/no-cost solution. Malvern did all this without making me feel like an idiot, which would have been appropriate given that "user error" was the closest thing to a common denominator across these varied issues.
