"All three jobs went great. For the water heater replacement Lewis came to my house at a convenient time for me, removed the heater changed out the rotted pipes and installed a new one with warranty. The price was great too. This job was time sensitive and he made me a priority to get it done. For the bathroom tub drain unclog he was very professional and did a great job. My garbage disposal was leaking and I came home to a pool of water in my cabinet and on the floor. Lewis came out quickly to resolve the issue for me. He replaced everything under the sink and showed me what he was doing each step of the way. I think that he is a great plumber if you want to get quality work and learn about each job too."

"Given the complexity of the project, it went as smoothly as something like this can go. Hagit developed a very functional and attractive design based around an island that would seat 3, along with a variety of cabinetry. She was very patient when we wanted a number of adjustments. She accompanied us to pick out counters and backsplash, and always seemed to have good ideas for selections according to our tastes. Brian mapped out the engineering, which included moving a support beam, together with an engineering firm. He also mapped out a three-month schedule with the various subcontractors the firm uses, like the plumber, electrician, plasterer, counter people, floor people, etc. They all had lots of experience with this kind of work, and in working with KCF. Brian worked hard to ensure that new wood flooring would match well with existing flooring just outside the new kitchen. The KCF team also took a lot of care to set things up in our condo to create barriers to minimize dust and dirt, and try to ease our inconvenience; they even loaned us a microwave to use in our temporary kitchen in the basement. For the most part, subs showed up as scheduled, and did good work. KCF also coordinated all the town inspections. There were only a few glitches--the biggest one was when the tiles for the backsplash arrived broken, and it took some weeks to get replacements. The tile outfit wasn't very responsive, and seemed not to care much. But KCF kept on with all the other work, and the tiles were finally put in pretty much near the end. We have used the kitchen for a couple months now and love it. The design and craftsmanship all worked well. Going through a kitchen re-do is never a pleasant experience, but KCF made it as painless as possible."

"This is a reliable family owned painting company. They are very good at communicating with their clients. They are also punctual. Really appreciate the kind demeanor of each of the workers including the owners. They did a great job preparing the space for painting. I was impressed by the level of attention to detail given to painting each cabinet. The day the cabinet doors were being put back up Priscila came by to make sure everything was well done and in good order. I appreciate her keen attention to detail as she noticed a couple of the doors needed an additional coat of paint to fully match the rest. I am so grateful she caught that. I would've noticed eventually and would've been disappointed. She has her clients' best interest at hand for sure. I highly recommend Flash Painters for your painting needs. Some tips for your cabinet painting project: 1. Empty out the cabinets completely. It's easier for the painter to really get in there to cover the inside of the cabinet. Also, even though they do a great job covering, the over spray just has a way of getting everywhere. If you don't want your glass vases to end up with white specs of paint on them make sure you take them out of the cabinet before it gets painted. 2. Cover your stove top with plastic. Again, the over spray gets in between the layers of paper. 3. If you get a chance wipe the surfaces immediately after the paint has been completed. As long as the paint is fresh it will come off but once it's dry it's there forever. We didn't have any major issues with this because I got ahead of it."

One drain was a particularly hard job, but he kept at it until it worked perfectly. There were no hidden charges or attempts to jack up the cost. When he finished, he cleaned up completely. "Great experience with Provost. Admittedly, I do not know a lot about plumbing, so it would be hard to comment on the technical aspects of the job. However, the parts I do know about, and most homeowners are in the same boat, were all phenomenal. Those parts are communication, timeliness and the finished result. I actually found Provost due to my initial plumber not returning or initiating any communication. I grew frustrated and called Provost due to a great recommendation (of their work). They immediately called me back and from there were in constant contact during the whole process. Because I had several contractors working on parts of the job the scheduling was tricky. Provost was able to work with them and move forward as they did. Finally, everything works great! Overall, it was a very professional, friendly and positive experience."
