My wife and I got everything we wanted at the price NRG quoted, which was right smack in the middle of the five bids we received and was quite fair and reasonable. NRG's commitment to stand by their work has given me great peace of mind. We have had minor hiccups since moving back in, each of which has been successfully and quickly resolved, and whenever something unexpected occurs, I remember and rest on Dave's assurance: "If there's an issue, we'll fix it. We stand by our work." That's exactly what Dave and NRG have done. Dave is not just a general contractor, he also serves as a counselor and mentor throughout the renovation process whom you can trust."

"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

"Setting up the service was an efficient process with the representative listening to what we needed done and providing a (reasonable) price over the phone. On the day of our service, the two-man crew was punctual, friendly and efficient. We initially walked through the house identifying all the registers and discussing the process. They then went to work and continued diligently and efficiently for over four hours. We were impressed with their attention to detail and care for our house (covering their shoes with "botties" when coming in from the wet outside; laying down when they started, a drop cloth by our front door where they stationed their heavy-duty HEPA vacuum; and then going around after they finished to vacuum bits of dust and paint that had fallen on our floors near registers that had been detached). Excellent experience."

"Avoid at all cost. Don't even get HomeServe home warranty cuz that's what they use. They came and fixed the leak by replacing the toilet ring/rubber. During the process, they caused a leak between the toilet tank and toilet bowl and refused to take responsibility saying they didn't touch the toilet tank. They actually did. I watched them when they used a water suction vaccuum to get dry out the tank. Also they had to unscrew the bolts connecting the tank and the toilet seat. When putting those bolts back they didn't do it right and the leak is where the bolts connecting them. Yet they said they didn't touch it. Wow. We are currently looking at actions (perhaps a small court claim) that we can take against them. Just found I can file a complaint on Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation which is where all the licenses are granted. Perhaps contact City rep too. Im going to wait and see if this gets resolved first."
