However, they replaced the old metal window frames with wood frames and I have 2 issues: I told the sales rep I wanted 6" sills as in the old frames, they put in 2" sills, so I have ~20 plants to find new real estate for; the frames are primed but not painted, so now I have another major project to do. This was not explained to me, I presumed they came factory-painted. Better communication with the client is needed."

She is personable, professional, and knowledgeable. The well-manned roofing team arrived on the day stated and completed most of the roofing in one day. The roofers had been trained by HCR and were not day-laborers or sub-contractors. They returned early the next morning and completed their work in a couple hours. No unpleasant surprises here! "I hired Walter Howard to renovate the master bathroom.  He was professional in every respect from the initial estimate to final completion of the job.   The job required removal and replacement of shower, toilet, sink, cabinets, and all fixtures; installation on new lighting, ceiling fan, new GFCI, tile floor and trim and new paint.  He and his team arrived promptly, did their work in a competent and confident manner and ensured the job site was clean before they left for the day.  He completed the job on-time and on budget, and my wife is delighted with the results.  I was so pleased with the work he did on this project, that I hired him to do our hall bathroom.  If you are looking for an experienced, reliable and high quality contractor, I strongly recommend Walter's Home Improvement.  His prices are reasonable and the work is first rate.

"We bought our house brand new 20 years ago. It reached that point in time when the original roof was starting to wear out. Our neighbor had to have her roof inspected and her contractor expressed to her that our roof had sustained some damage from high winds. We arranged to receive an estimate from HCR. Their rep, Casey Becraft, inspected our roof and noted that light was shining through the eave into the attic. He was able to schedule our replacement before the end of November. This was a relief to us, because we were concerned about the arrival of winter weather. HCR roof replacements are superior to builder grade roof installations. They install leak barriers, aluminum drip edges (that don't rust), ridge ventilation, and cap shingles on the eaves. The 5 tab shingles they install are much better than the originally installed asphalt shingles. They also replace all rubber pipe collars. All materials were loaded onto the roof the day before work started. The whole process took approximately 8 to 9 hours. And they hauled all of the waste materials away afterward. We are very pleased with work and relieved that this issue has been resolved."
