The details:Just a few hours before I had to leave on a flight out of the country, I discovered that my water heater was leaking when water was coming up through the seams of my laminate flooring. I only had time to turn off the main water shut off valve and the circuit breaker before heading off to the airport. Once I reached my destination, I did some research on Angie’s List hoping to find a good one-stop-shop company who could take care of both the mold/water remediation and the reconstruction… I was lucky to have found AW Martin who exceeded my expectations. I contacted AW Martin after hours and reached an answering service. Tony Martin returned our call within minutes. He was patient and answered all of my questions. He explained that he would deal directly with my insurance company so I wouldn’t have to while on vacation. Within a couple hours he and his crew began working on the mold/water remediation portion. My dad relayed to me that they worked until 2 am and that they were extremely careful when moving my fine china from the sideboard into the dry kitchen. They protected all of my large furniture with plastic sheeting and floor protectors. They also used plastic to wall off the upstairs and my kitchen to prevent the dust from traveling too much. They ripped up all the wet flooring and drywall as well as scrubbed the mold and sprayed. They brought in industrial blowers to dry out the house. The next day they returned to the house and Tony met with my insurance adjustor to review the damage and discuss numbers. He was able to agree upon a number so that I didn’t have to worry about that while I was on vacation. I was able to witness the care and attention to detail firsthand during the rebuild process. Christian, Chris and Olger were polite and a pleasure to deal with. Christian always answered my phone calls and was able to answer any of my questions or concerns. He was the one that suggested the upgraded baseboards and it has made such a difference. His team’s wall prep and paint job was meticulous; no paint drips or messy edges. I did a couple of upgrades with the flooring, the recessed lights, and the baseboard where I had to pay more than what insurance covered… but the end result was well worth it. I would not hesitate to hire them again. I will recommend them to my friends and family."

As a single woman running my own home and being very particular.....it is extremely important to be able to discuss the job, hear all the details, and employ someone who is honest, honorable, well qualified, neat, and highly informed. I first hired Rob for the drain problem. He accomplished that efficiently and neatly at a reasonable price. We discussed options for a back up for the sump pump. Having a finished basement, I am always concerned about water. I have never lost electricity during a rain storm....but the possibility always takes up space in my brain. I have a portable generator....but I have to be home to start it. Today Rob arrived on time and installed the back up for me. It took the whole morning as he predicted. He explained how it all worked and it is a beautiful thing. I so appreciate knowledgable and personable service. I highly recommend Easy Flow Drain and Mechanical LLC for any plumbing needs. Oh....one more thing...he noticed a leak in my fairly new furnace exhaust piping. He pointed it out and gave me several possible reasons for the leak so I could intelligently discuss it with the company that installed the new energy efficient furnace. "Really well. When I called for the appointment the woman who answered the phone was pleasant and helpful and got me an appointment the next day. One of the pipes installed during renovation less than a year ago was too short. Graham and Calvin repaired that and snaked out the pipes removing a clog from years ago in the older pipes. They left everything as clean as when they began. They were on time, courteous, and knowledgeable. They emailed me their pictures when they were on their way so that I would know who they were when they arrived. If I need help with a plumbing problem again, I will definitely call on them again."
